| Personal History | Maras was born on Vulcan to a proud and respected family with only a hint of human left in their genetic pool. She was raised with strong traditional values, including a deep reverence for logic and control of emotions. From a young age, Maras showed a remarkable aptitude for history which she used to research the human side of her family tree despite her family trying to keep Ka’see hidden. She was highly sought after by prestigious universities throughout the galaxy. At the age of 19, Maras met T'Pauk, a young Vulcan man who was equally dedicated to his studies and his cultural heritage. They quickly became close friends, and their bond deepened into something more. Maras and T'Pauk were planning to bond for life in the traditional Vulcan manner, but fate had other plans. Tragically, T'Pauk was killed in a freak accident while on a research mission. Maras was devastated by his loss, and for the first time in her life, she struggled to control her emotions. She felt a deep sense of emptiness and longing, and she struggled to find meaning in her life until the human side in her family tree came back into her life. |
