General Overview		A highly developed sense of justice, a keen mind and a complete and total willingness to run her mouth have gotten her in trouble more times than she cares to remember. She doesn't always think a situation through and tends to go with the first instinct that comes to her. She finds machines and computers easier to get along with than people, at least with computers you can predict what they'll do.

History

Personal History

Born an only child in 2359, young Teresa had a normal childhood without much worthy of note. She got passing grades at school, excelling in STEM. At the insistence of her parents she enlisted in Starfleet Academy, there to pursue a career in Engineering. It was here that her reputation as a troublemaker began, though there was considerable exaggeration mixed in with the basis of truth. Although she did get in trouble for running her mouth more than once, she swears she was not involved in the exploding toilet event. Either of them. After graduating she was assigned to the USS Baton Rouge, a relatively small and aging starship, in what she could only call a backwater posting, ostensibly having been sent there because of her reputation. Her career on the Baton Rouge didn't go very far either, only making Lt JG after ten years. Teresa, now completely disillusioned of any worthwhile career in Starfleet, resigned her commission and spent some years as a traveling handy-person on any freighter that would take her. This is how she came to be on the Starbase where the Mary Rose eventually made port to take on new crew.
