Unit of Merit for May

Hey gang

I've got some amazing news.... We won GOLD unit of merit for May. This for a simm less than a year old is an amazing achievement especially after the last few months of wondering who was in charge. Me and Shi have spent the last couple of hours messaging each other going 'we won' 'really?' in complete shock.

For many sims, losing a CO is a difficult thing to survive. Losing two and still persevering is practically unheard of, but that's exactly what the crew of the Mary Rose have done. Now under the command of their former XO, they have kept the ball rolling and fashioned in themselves a simming unit of which IFO can be proud.

"In looking at the Silver nominees this month, it was another tough call and I looked hard at all four contenders - their TFCO/TGCO's feedback, sim webpages, crew details, recent posts, missions, stats, and myriad other details. I could easily have named any of them Gold this month. But the SS Mary Rose has continually done great work in recent months and that has been noticed by the IFO and this office. Her and her crew deserve the Gold and the unique concept deserves some recognition. I truly hope we see the other contenders on this list again. I enjoy tough decisions, as it means this fleet is doing well!"

Im so excited about our future and the characters and concept we have going.
