| Description | Originally the saucer section's main cargo hold, Deck Nine has been converted to house the ships water reclamation. There are four waste water storage tanks and three organic defabricators, which collect waste from the downstream plumbing network and recycle it. There are also two emergency life support systems and two back-up batteries on this deck, to replace some of the units lost by the extensive cargo modifications. Three Observation Galleries each consist of a railed catwalk overhanging four viewports, remain intact from the original design. |
