Commission Conundrum

Commission Proctors,

I am writing to inform you that I have received your message that addresses your concern about my joining a group of somewhat ill-repute and taking a position aboard an unmonitored and potentially illegally obtained vessel.

And I must proceed to impress upon the Commission that the decision to do so is mine and mine alone. It does not breach the Code, as far as the records accessible to me state, nor do I believe it actually puts myself or the symbiote in harms way. If it would appease the Commission, you have my word that I do not intend to create an intergalactic incident from harmless events.

Whatever occurs upon the Mary Rose that turns unethical or illegal will not be from my own hands, this I assure you.

I do write to you now, already boarded upon the ship and ingrained within the every day activities. I purposefully did not ask where we were going, as that was not my intended goal. I merely mean to travel, adventure, and put good food in everyone's stomach.
