Indigo could not usually be found on the bridge at that time of night but she was going over the plan for what felt like the millionth time. It was a new route, one that they had never done before and despite the buzz, she felt she wanted to get it back on track and the refugees safely to their new home so they could start living again. Everyone there were either night duty or did not care enough that she was sat there a bottle in hand and a PaDD in the other scrolling through it. The human was just too unusual for them to want to interrupt.

She turned as the Captain and some others came through the door. What were they doing there at that time of night when she had been considering ways to bring Satun onto the team. "I am back and I made a friend." She announced.

"A friend?" Kaylin responded, only half-interested. "Indigo, what have I told you about bringing home strays?"

Indigo just grinned at the Captain as she gave her normal less than interested attitude. She knew she was more interested than she let on but was playing it cool to seem aloof. She was the one who went out and played the victim and normally found them more crew so she was not put off. “I think that last time we discussed it you told me to not bring anyone home unless they were pretty or I got stabbed and I kind of got both. I have not brought her home yet. I left her at my place.” She admitted looking a little pained. It would explain why she had not been around for a few days.

"And so now you're expecting me to go and meet this person?" Kaylin frowned. She motioned over her shoulder at Krynn and Taev. "There's no chance I'm going alone. And if the Tal Shiar show up it's coming out of your pay."

"Your stray set'leth better be housebroken," Taev said, shooting a look at Indigo as he got up. "Because if she's not, I'm not cleaning up the mess."

"You guys are so judgemental after all our time together." Indigo rolled her eyes. Had they not listened to the part where she had been stabbed or was that just cause for less payment now. She stood and lead the way to the transporters and down to her apartment that she maintained out of wanting somewhere to escape off to when she needed to. It was old fashioned but it was clean and nowhere near as dreary as it was outside at that time of year. "I am back and I brought friends that I spoke to you about," Indigo called hoping the woman had not left.

Fighting the urge to grabbed the disrupter pistol she had hidden behind the couch cushion, Satun chose to trust Indigo for the moment. It was a stretch but she was being hunted, and anyone who would take a stab wound to save you deserved benefit of the doubt even if only momentarily. As she saw Indigo and the group, Satun stopped and nodded to them. "My name is Satun," she introduced herself, leaving last names off for now. "Indigo tells me you're looking for people who have certain skills?" she followed up, staying a little vague on purpose.

"That depends on the skills," Kaylin retorted, eying the young woman down and trying to get a feel for her. She was tense, that much was clear, but that was hardly unusual in times such as these. The way she was on the verge of going for a hidden weapon was unmistakably military training underneath the veneer she gave. Probably not Tal Shiar, but certainly Galae at the very least. "You should relax; if we were here to kill you we wouldn't have come through the front door. And you wouldn't have seen our faces."

Indigo frowned at everyone stood in her living area and shook her head. For a people with few words sometimes they liked to use them for purposely like warning each other of how they could kill each other if they wanted. Romulans were so intent of out almost aloofing each other it was ridiculous. “No one is killing anyone in my home. I would not save you from someone wanting to kill you and getting stabbed for people to do it now. A waste of resources and time and effort.” Indigo said simply looking at everyone before sitting on her couch.

Taev cocked an eyebrow. "Setting someone up to look like a victim wouldn't exactly be outside the Tal'Shiar's playbook," he admonished. "Just because you're as soft-hearted and soft-headed, doesn't mean the rest of us should be."

Indigo looked at Taev and narrowed her eyes just a bit. She hated when he treated her like an irate child, more so now when she had been stabbed trying to help the woman. "Well someone needs to have a bit of heart in all of this. It has kept us alive after all. We cannot all be cold hearted." She argued back wincing.

"Why do you think I keep you around?" Kaylin snorted. Expecting a warm-hearted Romulan was like asking for a generous Ferengi. "We're not collecting strays. We've all got a job and a mission. So what's this one's story?"

“We’ll ask her not me.” Indigo said grinning at Kaylin snorting. It was funny to hear a Romulan laugh. She wanted to commented that she was a stray they collected but thought better of it. She was already on a rocky road with things.
