Checking In

Vinny stood at the door to Meghan's quarters. He was concerned for his friend and wanted to be sure she was well. In one hand he held a holorecording of some of his performances and some other various musical treats, and in the other hand was a bottle of Bajoran sprigwine. He activated the door chime and awaited an answer.

Meghan was not sure how long she had slept again but the chime kept ringing until she had no choice but to stumble to her feet and look around confused. She could not remember how she got back to her quarters but Jaxom was nowhere to be seen this time. She would figure out what was going on there after she stopped the chiming, it seemed whoever was on the opposite side was not going to give in. She pulled a wrap around her and pressed the door release.

“Doctor?” She wondered surprised to see the man stood there looking as patient as could be despite the wait she had put him through.

"Miss Massachusetts." he return the greeting with a smile. "I understood there was an episode, yesterday. I wanted to check in on my favorite patient. May I come in?"

“Of course. I did not want to bother you or your team after the display I put on.” The woman nodded and stepped back to allow him into the quarters. She looked around it looked tidy enough to entertain company which was good. "What are you doing here?"

He followed her in and waited for the door to close. "Oh, I brought a few things for you." His excitement and awkwardness was almost giddy. He handed her first the holorecording disc. "Music soothes the soul, so I brought you some recordings of me playing on my piano. It's a mix of Terran classical music, Andorian jazz, and I added a performance of the Betazoid Symphony Orchestra performing with only thier chime section." Vinny then handed over the bottle. "If the viewing is awful, you can then drink the Bajoran sprigwine and it'll then sound better. Doctors orders." he added.

"Please take a seat. I apologise I just woke up I am a little confused." She admitted having just stared at him trying to translate what he was saying. It was a beautiful sentiment to her. They did not know each other well but they had become firm friends. She took the items he was holding out and put them on the table indicating for him to take a seat.

Vinny sat down and smiled softly. "I wanted to be sure you were okay, and make sure you and your partner were okay and if I could offer any assistance. I also would like to do a quick tricorder scan, if it is alright with you, just to be sure you didn't suffer any injuries."

"We are okay. I am not sure Jaxon is my partner anymore but I would appreciate it if you did a quick check over. I feel like I am okay other than feeling a bit weaker than normal." It would take a long time to recover from this expenditure of magic.
