Jeassaho yawned as she walked into the workshop surprised by the decorations in the normally drab and stuffy space. She paused as she stretched her arms over her head wondering about it all, had she missed an announcement or event. She stepped further in seeing the food and alcohol that had been laid out on the work benches. “What is all this?” She wondered with a bright smile as someone followed her into the small space.

Bradon saw Jeassaho's reaction to the layout and grinned at her. "Hey Jeass! Come on over! What's your poison?" he asked as he gestured to the layout.

The Betazoid walked over smiling as she felt the good mood the Chief Engineer was in. She looked over the spread and grabbed a mug pouring some of the acquired vodka into her mug. "Rueben's supply I suppose?" She whispered in a soft voice so only he could hear that she knew exactly where the alcohol was coming from.

"He has a special supply?" Bradon asked innocently.

The pretty woman smiled and winked at her boss, she would keep the secret. "So what is this celebration in need of then?"

"Oh, I thought this would be a great way to celebrate the fact that, as of 0800 today, we finally have both running water in all the crew quarters. So I figured, let's have a party! What do you think?" Bradon, normally not quite as talkative as this, waited for Jeass' response by taking a sip of the smoky green liquid in his glass.

"I'm still surprised Rueben allowed you to put replicators in." It had been an argument at the beginning as not all Officers and Crew on state of the art ships had replicators in their quarters. "But i do enjoy the water." It was strange to use water to shower instead of sonic.

"Well it's been on my weekly reports to him, and he's not mentioned it, so I think we're good. Besides, we found a whole bunch of molecular components that, although ancient, made excellent fodder for the industrial replicators. They had the trace elements that we needed to repair the replicators. It was at no cos to the Mary Rose. That's probably why he didn't mention it."

Jeassaho grinned, it would be nice to not have to wander around the ship to get a glass of water in the middle of the night. She couldn't count the number of times now, she had stumbled across something in the middle of the night that she shouldn't have.

Bradon paused as Janet came in, her face lighting up as she saw the spread before her. "You did it!" she exclaimed as she came up to the table and poured herself a drink, then grabbed some of the food.

"Ummm, dinner."

"Yep," Bradon replied. "I keep my word."

"Oh you've been planning this without me huh?" Jeassaho demanded good naturally as she jumped up onto one of the work tops letting her legs dangle below her as she took a good measure of her drink. She might be small and petite but she could drink with the best of them and then some.

Sebastian came in, running a hand through his tousled hair, as he veered toward the repaste. The gleaming edges of tools could be seen sticking out of the corners of his pockets and there were smudges running along one cheek. A soft murmur from his belly reminded him that it had been more than twelve hours since he'd bothered taking care of such things; he made up a plate, poured himself a drink and joined Jessaho on the worktop.

"So are we expecting anyone else boss? Did you invite your new friend?" Jeassaho wondered grinning happily. It was nice for once to just be one of the guys able to tease them, drink and relax for once instead of constantly having to worry and be doing paperwork. She grinned as the Chief Engineer ignored her mentioning Dixoho.

Sebastian listened while steadily eating. He hadn't been aware there was a party himself and still had yet to meet the rest of the staff. For the moment though, he was content. There had been a problem to solve and now there was food. Life didn't get much better than crewing on a busted up ship where there was always something new problem to dig into.

"You need more booze." Jeassaho said jumping down grabbing the bottle of alcohol from Mark as he filled his own mug and poured some more in Sebastian's mug then Janet's before filling her own and the Chief Engineers with a wink. It was nice to be drinking stolen vodka.

Sebastian mock-saluted with his refilled mug and took a sip. "You know, fixing things might be its own reward," he said, "but getting a party afterward? I could get used to this."
