Jeassaho lent against the open door looking at the small room, it was basically a square room with a bunkbeds built into the wall opposite the main entrance and a bathroom about the same size connected on the left hand side. She had never really looked in one of the one fashioned rooms from 150 years ago the but it looked similar to crew quarters on Starfleet vessels now in the 24th century apart from they were bigger on current ships with a living area. She stepped further into the room to see that someone was unpacking.

"At least you don't have a room mate?" She offered moving back to the doorway now she knew the room wasn't empty.

Aurora laughed, a low throaty chuckle, as she turned toward the newcomer. "I suspect that's the Captain's doing ... Wouldn't want to make any members of the crew crazy and all."

"Yes Rueben doesn't trust Deltans much." Jeassaho said with a small fond smile thinking of Rueben.

Mask firmly in place, Aurora smiled as she returned to stowing what little gear she carried. Jobs, as they say, were jobs and the prejudices of her employers didn't matter as long as things went as agreed upon. "I'm looking forward to seeing Empok Nor," she said as she lifted her journal out of the carryon. Visibly worn with all sorts of scraps tucked into its pages, its leather cover showing numerous signs of wear, the journal was where she kept leads and tidbits of information that hadn't as yet panned out yet.

"It should be interesting for sure. It has been abandoned for years so hopefully the Cardassian's left some interesting stuff for me to play with." The Engineer was thinking of it all from an Engineering point of view and what the ship needed to function.

"Its in the nature of many cultures to keep things they find most valuable safe ... often that means hidden. Its part of the fun of what I do. Hunting out the secrets they didn't want to share."

"Well maybe this ship has more secretes stored away somewhere. We only found the space by mere chance, a faulty power line that kept blacking out the ship." Jeassaho came into the room more and grinned. "I've never really looked in these rooms before." Thanks to Rueben and him wanting her away from him while Keera was on board she had a VIP room which was a little more comfortable than the old fashioned crew quarters.

"An interesting notion. Who owned it after Starfleet?"

Jeassaho shrugged a little. "A few different people i believe that last owner called himself The Collector. It is a little pompous of him i suppose." Jeassaho added with a shrug. They had searched the ships records for a proper name for the previous owner but it had been unsuccessful in finding anything so until anything changed he was known as that.

"Those with the resources and the desire to build a good collection, tend to be secretive. Otherwise, they might as well hang a sign out that says 'good place to rob right over here', you know? So, not surprised that he ... she .... it keeps their name private. Still, collecting something as a big as a starship speaks of resources on a whole new level. Interesting. Any idea when the last time anyone heard from this ... collector?""

Jeassaho grinned and sat down on the bottom bunk. She bounced a little on the mattress, it was a lot nicer than her own in the quarters she had been given. "Nice mattress." She commented on with a shake of her head. "Hmm... about five years ago by the date of the last personal log. Seriously though he is a complete psycho. Once you are settled i will show you the grotto and you can see for yourself."

Aurora dropped the sliver of cloth she was holding back into its place in her carryall and turned, hands on hips. "No time like the present," she said, the sparkle of investigating things unknown lighting the depths of her eyes. "I'm ready if you are."

"I've just got comfortable." The Engineer sighed dramatically.

Aurora laughed. "You can't make that kind of an offer and then not deliver ... course, I could be tempted by a cup of hot tea. Where does the crew take meals?"

"Have you not had a tour? I thought someone would have shown you around." Not everyone had a lover or friends waiting for them when they arrived, she reminded herself quickly. Jeassaho pulled herself up to a stand position pulling her shirt down. "That mattress is comfortable by the way."

"I'm not permanent crew and I'm using to doing for myself. So I have the basics. Bridge, shuttle bay, that sort of thing. Just was thinking that a cup of tea would go great about now. If I stay here, I'll keep working and well, not working for a moment has its appeal. So ... interested?"

"Well i am not sure i can show you around if you are not permanent crew." Jeassaho admitted looking a little unsure before she rolled her eyes. "Come on then tea and then grotto. I think you'll stay once you see it." Jeassaho didn't think the woman would leave, no one left once they came on board. Rosie might be old but she had charm to say the least.

"Its alright," Aurora said softly. "The Captain made it clear this was temporary. 'Sides, I have a ship. Okay, its barely more than an oversized shuttle and its not working real well right now ... but I do have one. And with luck, I'll earn enough on this job to get it fixed. So let's go get the cup of tea, shall we?"

"Well play your cards right you might find an Engineer willing to help change your luck!" Jeassaho said with a wink as she started to lead the way to the door.
