Captain's log, Stardate 70322.2

For once, I'm not feeling hung over after a night lounging in the ward room. I guess that none of us really had the urge to drink. We have left the Station behind us and started our journey as Barton had planned but I am still sceptical of what we shall find when we finally reach the promised land but whatever happens I can’t argue with the escape and freedom it is giving me again away from Starfleet Intelligence and the interference.

The ship is slowly getting faller and faller at each stop we make, the only stop I wish we had made sooner was Jeassaho. She is on board, ignoring me but at least she is safe from Intelligence. I just wish we could have told her where she was going before we pretty much kidnapped her from Starfleet and everything she knew. Maybe one day she will forgive me for everything but I am not holding much hope that it will be any day soon. Someone told me once before that jealousy is about the fear of losing someone we love, but that what we gain when we love someone is greater than we what we risk. I just wish I could make myself believe that. All I can feel is this hatred of Keera, this intense jealousy. Im scared that it will drive her away.

You would think after all this time that I would be used to things going wrong especially on a space ship… especially this space ship with its curse . I thought the curse might have broken by me taking over as Captain. How wrong am I? How wrong can one person be first of all I ask for an investigation into the power surges that kept knocking power off to the ship and when they finally found where it was coming from I asked for the unmapped cargo hole to be open. No one expected this. I just hope that one of the crew can figure out how to help us in time.
