Mission: Mission 3 - Negligence
Location: Deep Space 7
Timeline: MD -2 22:00
1576 words - 3.2 OF Standard Post Measure

Amelia had been roaming Deep Space 7 for a few days. She'd resigned her position as Lieutenant on her previous ship due to her attitude problem and reluctance to follow orders. As Amelia would say, there are two sides to every story.

She claimed that the mission they were on would end in anguish and bloodshed. It was wrong and immoral. She loved danger as much as the next person (maybe a little too much), but knew the outcome would be a total disaster. Therefore, she refused and urged others to follow suit. She was confident that people would follow. She thought wrong. Blinded by her arrogance, she was forced to resign following a very public verbal scene between her and the captain.

She had since felt empty since departing her ship. She was aware, however, the affect the crew had on her. She thought she had friends; but they were just as two-faced as the captain. They were too strict for her liking. She needed to be free. Hell, the reason she wanted to be a pilot was to fly away and be free of restrictions. She had thought about going home, but that was where the problems began. Alcoholic father that degraded her every chance he got. And a loving Aunt, but one who didn't see a woman's place in Starfleet to begin with...

Nope!

Now, she was here in the depths of space searching for her next move. Her next mission. She'd heard of the S.S Mary Rose from a thief at a bar, and they were looking for another pilot. Her mouth salivated at the thought of flying again. It has been years since she flew. Mostly, she just wanted to explore. She wanted to escape her life and her problems. She had nothing really tying her to home, besides the obvious. She wanted to live for herself, finally. She was ready.

Looking around to the various individuals on the station, she knew she was getting looks. It was probably the way she dressed. She was clad in a white tank top, brown leather pants and combat boots. She wasn't afraid to show off her figure. *Don't start a fight, Amy...* she whispered to herself. Her experience with the martial arts had put others in their place when needed. Hell, that was one of the reasons why she was selected on some of the most dangerous missions on her ship. She was also no stranger to weaponry. Target practice had been a great stress reliever. She could also dismantle and put together her phaser in minutes.

Giving a simple smile to one of the gentlemen checking her out, she proceeded on her way. As she sauntered past, a greasy hand slapped her ass. With a heavy sigh, she turned around, kicked the man in the groin and grabbed his wrists. Then, flipping backward behind him, she flipped over him to the floor. Through his wincing pain, she let him go "Respect. Try it." she growled.

Looking to the scene she'd created, she ran her fingers through her soft, black hair..."Anyone know where I can find Captain Gregnol?" she asked as she caught her breath. “I need a drink…” she said closing her yes in frustration.

And then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something beautiful... A woman, slim build with dark brown hair and mesmerizing eyes. A grin spread across her face as her cheeks flushed with a tint of red. biting her lip, she tried to remain calm and casual.

Jeassaho was sat ignoring the people around her in one of Deep Space 7's seedier bars. She turned as she saw a younger woman watching her. "Can I help?" She demanded. She wore a dark blue boiler suit that was tied around her waist leaving her in a black vest top. She just screamed Engineer she knew but she wanted a quiet drink and no one dared touched her here.

Amelia looked to Jeassaho and casually walked away from the scene she'd created. Walking toward the woman, she half smiled "Not anymore. But, I am looking for someone." she replied softly, trying not to totally check out her, but damn, she was gorgeous. It was obvious that she was an engineer. Looking to the bartender, she sighed "Scotch. Neat. Thanks."

"That's such a man's drink." Jeassaho snorted looking over. "Who you looking at with such a big smile," She demanded looking her over just as much as the woman was looking her over.

Amelia took a sip of her scotch just as she heard Jeassaho's comment about her beloved scotch "Don't knock it 'till ya try it, babydoll." She winked playfully. "Well, those big hazel eyes are hard to miss." She smiled not-so-innocently "You don't look like the type to drink in this shithole, either. Nah, you're classy. You're intelligent, beautiful, and know your way around the bones of a ship. Engineer?" She asked as she eyed Jeassaho up once more.

"Yeah, afraid so... so I am a bit dirty. I am here because none of those men or women would dare try anything as they know I what ship I am from." The Betazoid said with a smirk as she looked at the woman watching her again. "See something you like?" She asked as she indicated to the bar man to get them both another drink.

"Hmmm, what ship? Need a pilot? I've been itching to fly again and quite frankly, I feel like part of my soul is still one my last one. I've actually been looking for the S.S. Mary Rose.." She sighed as the bartender slid the both of them, heir, next round. She then gave a wicked grin, reaching for her drink , her hand graced Jeassaho's wrist. "Perhaps." She replied as she took her first sip. "This is different, it's good." She said as she licked some of the sugar-infused liquor from her lips.

"Ha!" Jeassaho let out a bark of laughter at not only the women stealing her drink but the fact she was looking for her ship. "That is my ship... and that is my Betazed Nectar." She whispered looking at her hand on her wrist. "Well you should always take what you like." Jeassaho said simply as a man sidled up to her and looked her over.

"Is that your wife deary?" The man slurred to Jeassaho.

Amelia smirked as she gave Jeassaho her drink "Well, when I like what I see, I jump at the chance to grab it. Living in times where one can lose everything in a millisecond, you can't take chances." she winked as she observed the drunk moving on them. "You bet your sodden ass she is, mate. Back off..." she replied with a glare as she placed her arm around Jeassaho, pulling her close. "I hate men sometimes..." she sighed. "So, you're on the Rose? Well, love, if it isn't my lucky day!" she exclaimed happily.

"Pretty thing." The man slurred grabbing Jeassaho's waist tugging her off the seat. The Engineer grabbed Amelia to stop herself from falling to the floor.

"Sorry..." Jeassaho murmured as she watched the man get tugged away with a few apologies from the group he belonged to. "So wife huh?" The brunette wondered with a grin as they stood there.

Amelia gently tugged Jeassaho back to her space, glaring at the group that took the very apparent drunk away from them. "Well, did you feel like going back to where ever he was going?" she replied as she stood close to her. Hand grasping Jeassaho's wrist, she sighed "After alll...hitting on someone take a certain percent of class. One that the little slugger definitely did not have. No, " she began seductively "This is..." she continued as her hand let go of the Jeassaho's wrist, going into the her hair, fingers waving through those luscious locks. She leaned in just close enough to whisper into the brunette's ear "Did you say you needed a pilot?"

"Yes..." Jeassaho whispered as the woman move closure to her. It would be so easy to just let this woman seduce her and enjoy the feelings of it being out of her control built.

Amelia then put her hand on Jeassaho's cheek and slowly brought her lips to hers "Well, what perfect timing...I mean, if you'll have me, that is..." she purred as she gently kissed her. Gods, her lips were so delicious from the nectar she'd been drinking. She savoring every last bit before letting go. "So, what'll ya say?" She asked as she waited for her reaction.

"I'm not the Captain." Jessaho breathed a little dumbstruck at the kiss before she remembered Rueben and not only was he the Captain but he had the last say and if he thought for a second something was or had happened between them she would be told no. "You need to wipe that look off your face if you want to meet the Captain." Jeassaho hinted softly as she stood to start showing Amelia where the ship was.

Amelia straightened herself up and placed her empty glass on the bar "My apologizes, love. I guess I'm just a little excited." she winked as she followed Jeassaho to the ship.

Amelia was certainly excited; she might just be able to fly again!
