"YELLOW ALERT! YELLOW ALERT! All CREW REPORT TO YELLOW ALERT STATIONS." The computers feminine voice announced over the hidden speakers throughout the quarters. Jeassaho yelped as she woke with a start sitting up automatically.
“Yellow alert….” She half whispered to herself as she poked the person sound asleep next to her. The woman was sleeping through the persistent sound that the computer was making. It was drilled into the Starfleet Officer that yellow alert was responded to the same as red alert or any other alert that they could think of. “Meilia…” She added louder than the computer’s voice was announcing to her.
"All hands to Damage control stations... Fire Deck 6, Converted Cargo Holds." Rueben’s voice sounded calming through the same system shutting up the computer for a moment. If the Captain was on the computer system already it had to be bad.
Amelia stirred to Jeassaho's voice. It was then that she heard the yellow alert "Mmm? Wha? Shit..really?" she sighed as she jumped out of the bed and threw on her tank top. Slipping her legs into her leather pants and grabbing her shoes, she ran her fingers through her hair "What the damned hell.." she groaned.
Standing up, she waited for Jeassaho to get dressed "Never a dull day here, love.."
Jeassaho didn't say anything as she stomped herself into a boiler suit trying to tug on a bra and a top, she couldn't go half dressed. "Go... don't wait for me." The woman hissed quickly. She needed to be wearing clothes to be part of a fire team, she needed the protection just in case.
With a quick nod, Amelia grabbed her gear and started to run toward the bridge. She knew they needed help at the cargo holds, however, she felt that she just had to be to the bridge. This was HER area and she had to protect it. "Blimey, what the hell happened?!" she called out. One cannot get a decent night of freaking rest to save their lives on this ship. She loved it, but it was so bittersweet lately. She was also well aware that the Captain didn't have a high opinion of her.
