Dixoho suddenly became aware of everything around her, people were talking in quiet voices and the lights were much brighter than she was used to. Slowly she sat up trying to blink away the pain of the sudden bright lights to be able to see but it was hard work trying to see. What exactly had happened? The last thing she remembered was being in the Ward Room.

“What has happened?” She murmured looking around.

"Not much." Caden was up and functional before most of those who fell ill. When he had been cleared, he decided to hop up and assist the others. "We missed a few thrilling days of debates and an investigation on the history of the Rose, but we're just waking up for the clean up."

Dixoho nodded trying to make sense of it as she started to cough. "Sounds kind of boring in all honesty. Was there much history?" She asked once the coughing fit ended leaving her more exhausted than before.

Caden picked up a medical tricorder to examine her as they continued their conversation. "Not to my knowledge. I overheard someone talking about a 'Collector,' but I've been trying to keep out of the main line of affairs on the off chance I get caught up in something illegal. You might want to start with that, though."

Dixoho laughed at the thought that he didn't want to get caught up in anything illegal but it turned into a coughing fit. Did he know what kind of ship he was on? She rolled on her side trying to catch her breath but it was hard.

"It's probably best to make sure you're not going to cough out a lung, so to speak," Caden frowned. "Not until you're better. But, luckily, that won't be an issue for long. You're healing over nicely. So long as you remain in this bed overnight, you should be just fine."

Dixoho lay back on her back breathing deeply and nodded. "Where is the Doctor?" She wondered softly. She vaguely remembered him helping her when she had started not being able to breathe.

"He's taking a well-deserved rest." Caden said with a snort, gesturing with a thumb over his shoulder, out the door of the Med Bay. "Once he administered the cure and made sure it worked, I think he had other things on his mind. It worked, I guess that's what the important part was."

"I guess he would if that Engineer is better." She said with a huge sigh. "I guess i should be happy Talon kept me alive and didn't let me die." Dixoho said looking at the door where he had indicated for a moment before she looked back at the medic. "I am glad the cure worked even with my lungs making it difficult."

"Who's Talon?" Caden blinked at her, perplexed. "Is he like a jealous ex... because if he's on the ship and he's the sort who'd attack people, maybe I should be more concerned."

"The Doctor... The Bajoran Doctor, really kind." Dixoho said with a small smile. She wished he was a jealous ex but she didn't think the man had a jealous or hurtful bone in his body.

Caden returned her answer with a clueless stare. If he had any clue of who Talon Joss was, he didn't show it. "I believe I must have appeared on the ship after this doctor vacated, because the resident physician is a man by the name of Olsam Mott. And he's Bolian."

None of this made sense. Where was Talon? He wouldn't just up and leave in an emergency like the one she assumed had happened.

"No... he is a Bajoran." Dixoho said quickly. She knew that to be correct. "Wait a moment... Who exactly are you for that matter?" She demanded having seen him around but she hadn't realized he was medical.

"Caden Issacks," responded the dark haired doctor, who seemed unphased by the revelation Dixoho was having. "And the current head doctor is blue and Bolian. I think he has hair, but I think it's a toupe. I don't know why."

"No he was Bajoran!" She answered stubbornly. She knew that to be the truth, he had been her friend and he had tried to fix her lungs. "Can you get someone else, someone who makes sense." She asked not at all convinced.

Caden frowned at her, disapproving of the tone she took. "I can't get you this Bajoran doctor you keep asking about, but I can get you any of our other field medics on staff. Maybe Doctor Mott knows the situation."

"Fine get him or that Betazed Medic." Dixoho muttered still acting stubborn. She didn't want to think about where Talon was to say the least. Nothing was making any sense at all.

"... The word is please, where I come from," Caden said, rolling his eyes and making for the door. She had not been the first in the line of recovering patients he would have to deal with, but he decided she would be the last for the day. Someone else could deal with her.
