Jeassaho sighed half asleep as someone curled up against her wrapping an arm across her bare stomach. She smiled not opening her eyes as she rolled onto her back. "Morning." Jeassaho murmured convinced it was morning not barely a few hours after she had fallen asleep. Keera had gotten a quick shower as Jeass had drifted off to sleep. Seeing her in a deep sleep after the shower, Keera dropped her towel and slipped into bed next to her lover. She had missed having someone next to her in bed and often tried to cuddle with a pillow in Jeass' absence. Having Jeass next to her again made Keera feel she wasn't out here all alone. Feeling Jeass begin to stir roused Keera.

Keera gently tightened her arm around Jeass. She kissed her on the back of her ear and whispered, "Rested so soon?"

"It's morning," Jeassaho murmured back not really awake despite wiggling a little to get comfortable on the old bed.

Keera chuckled. "Not yet Hon, but you did fall into a deep restful sleep right away." Keera raised her hand and cupped Jeass. "Are you rested, Sweetie?"

"Oh..." Jeassaho fell silent thinking of wether she was tired or not. "I thought we agreed you wouldn't call me that?" She finally wondered aloud breaking the silence that had descended the dark room.

"I agreed not to call you lover," Keera agreed, "even though you are. And a great one at that." She understood why Jeass didn't want that title. It was a no strings relationship; pleasure only. Keera knew that Jeass' true love was Reuben, even though they were currently at odds. Keera knew that it was only a matter of time for them to work through their differences.

"You have been sweet," Keera whispered, nibbling Jeass' ear. "That's why I call you Honey and Sweetie."

"Hmm..." Jeassaho wasn't really committed to the conversation let alone anything else. Sensing that Jeass wasn't committed to the moment, Keera assumed she was still tired from the journey. She had been a bowl of mixed emotions earlier, when she had been face-to-face with Reuben since the disaster. She seemed to slightly calm when she was guided to their quarters and cleaned up.

"I've missed you," Keera confided. "Your confidence in what you do, your daily communication with me and helping me sort things out," and quietly as she rolled to her back, "your skill at love making."

Jeassaho laughed loudly at the statement. "You make me sound like some amazing being." Keera supported herself with an elbow as she turned back to Jeass. It was either modesty or misunderstanding that Jeass wasn't able to see herself in light of everything she had endured.

"Are you joking?" Keera inquired with a smile. "Most people would have given up on life long ago had the been through what you have lived. You are amazing Jeass, whether you see it or not." Jeassaho shook her head with a small smile as she woke up a little more and turned on her back looking up at the ceiling. It was good to see Jeass smile. She had been through a lot the past three years. Keera seriously doubted that if she had lived through what Jeass had, she wouldn't be able to smile. The smile brought happiness to Keera. She leaned over Jeass, so she could look into her dark eyes.

"It's good to see the smile," came her soft response. Jeassaho blinked at Keera as she came into focus above her and made her laugh a little as she caught her thoughts.

"Had no choice but to live and to smile. I have two beautiful nieces who need smiles." Jeassaho said gently.

"Truly remarkable," Keera affirmed as she caressed Jeass' cheek, sweeping her hair out of her face. She leaned over and kissed Jeass softly on the lips. She grinned, quietly saying, "Have I told you how much I missed you?"

"You said something about confidence in what i do and daily communication." Jessaho murmured shivering at the softly caress on her cheek. "It's only been a few weeks," She added softly looking up unsure.

Keera chuckled. "You are a damn good engineer and you know it. Also, when I told you what the Admiral wanted me to do, you kept that confident. You trusted me, despite knowing my relationship to the Admiral. Some of that may have been because you could feel I was being truthful. But you hung in there with me. I appreciate that. Even though it's only been a few weeks, you've been missed."

Jeassaho shook her head, kissing the younger woman's chin. "I could always tell. You've always been honest." Despite everything Keera had never lied.

Jeass was never one to lie to. Keera had understood that. Even if she had wanted to and Jeass wasn't empathic, Keera couldn't lie to her. She had come closer to Keera as her sisters were on Risa. They were the ones that helped their younger sister escape from Kark and the family business. Hopefully, they were able to leave too. Keera lightly traced Jeass' skin from her shoulder downward. She leaned in for another kiss. This one was more passionate.

"Mmm..." Jeassaho murmured at the trace on her shoulder underneath her vest top. She smiled as Keera leaned down for a kiss. The Chief Engineer moved and wrapped an arm around Keera in a familiar gesture of there relationship. If Jeass were to go back to Reuben tomorrow, Keera would enjoy tonight. Because of each other's empathic abilities, what one felt, both felt. Keera's lips began to follow her finger kissing the area that her finger lightly traced. Tonight, she was all Jeass'.
