ON:

Jasper walked through the sliding door into the lobby of Kot'ioli, a rather unique hotel as far as he was concerned. He noticed the courtyard beyond the front desk and from what he could tell no wall separating the lobby from it. Bright bouquets of lush blooms adorned the area and beautiful holographic images hung on the walls depicting various points of interest on Azzia. The images were so lifelike and vivid compared to anything he had seen.

On a side wall was a large map of the city and Jasper found himself trying to figure things out from it, "too bad it's not in Federation common," he muttered to himself.

"I was having the same problem." A familiar voice said from the side of him. Dixoho Saa stood there covered from head to toe in multi covered dust from the beach party that they had all been to. She wore a pale wrap around dress but had fabric wrapped around her bare arms that were multicoloured. "You get separated as well?"

"I did," Jasper admitted, "just so many people." He chuckled "and not sure why there were so many more women there than men."

"I had some drunk man telling me all about that," Dixoho told him with a smile as she looked around hoping that Michael might realise that she wasn't at the celebrations any longer and come at least looking for her back at the small vacation suit. "They don't produce as many men." It was a simple fact.

"So they live inside a temporal anomaly, it never rains, they have two suns and then there are more women than men," Jasper chuckled, "their beer is good but the festival goes on for days, I'm trying to pace myself." He laughed again and tilted his head, "are you staying here Dixoho?"

"I am. I got a suite here as it seemed the nicest on on offer from the welcome pack we got from the board of tourism. I think a lot of the crew is." She admitted hoping he didn't want too much privacy. She liked to think they had become friends over the last month of intensive reacclimating him to 2395 and Rosie

The man smiled and nodded, "I thought it was, though the round bed threw me." He looked down at the colored powders on his own body and back at the woman, "so are we to wear the powder for a while or are we allowed to wash this stuff off?"

The woman smiled softly as she looked at the powder all over her skin and the blue in her hair to complemented her look of not caring. "I was planning to wash it off once I can get these bands off." Someone would have to help her take them off as someone put them on her.

"Want me to," Jasper asked with a smile, "but why would they put those on you, do you know?"

"No a clue... I don't think I was colourful enough." She said with a smirk as she looked at him holding out one of her arms as the entrance area started to fill up with more people.

Jasper chuckled, "I think we both are now." He reached both of his hands up to undo the fasteners and began removing the peculiar sleeves. "they may have some strange customs but I sure enjoyed that opening ceremony."

"There you are," Micheal's voice was heard behind the pair as he approached them. "Wondered where you went after we got separated." He smiled at Dixoho as he spoke. There was no hint of any tone in his voice or on his face as he spoke. "Hey, Jasper. How are you liking the planet so far?"

Dixoho turned and smiled at him. “Looks like you lose out on untying me there Jasper." she teased as the Armory Chief joined them. Dixoho raises an eyebrow at him unsure as to his tone.

The ops man chuckled and nodded at the trill, "I have to admit they know how to throw a party." He grinned taking in a deep breath, "are you headed back to the beer fest or have you had enough for today?"

"It is like midnight! I am going to bed, but you can go after you get me out of these," Dixoho commented on with a wink to Micheal. He was more than welcome to go, after all they weren't joined at the hip. "I was on watch until Gregnol kicked me off the bridge this morning from zero four hundred. I need a shower and some beauty sleep."

The tall Texan smiled. "I think I've had enough outdoor fun for one day." He was looking tired as well. "I'll gladly help you out of your bondage gear." Turning to Jasper, he smiled. "What about you, I'd man? Are you done? Or are ya heading back out to try and find a nice young lady to spend some time with?"

"I'm headed back," he said with a chuckle, but not until I get this stuff off me." He shook his head, "I doubt very much I'll have any better luck with the Azzians as I do with any other women.'

Dixoho laughed a little at Micheal before shaking her head. Normally, a comment like that would have earned a blush and a quick change of subject, but she was having a lovely evening and it felt nice to be off the ship and onto a planet. "I am sure you will. You can use the line 'I am from another time' they love time." She pointed out siding up to Micheal a little.

Micheal put his right arm around Dixoho's shoulders as he agreed with her. "Yeah, I'm sure you start telling them about not where you are, but when... and they will be eating out of your hand."

"I should put my uniform on then," Jasper chuckled, "that might get their attention too." He chuckled and then tilted his head, "you really think they will believe me that I'm 'from the past?"

"Don't put your uniform on silly. Stranger things have happened." Dixoho said as she leaned into Micheal finding his presence nice next to her. It wasn't like on the ship at all, they had time to relax a little.

As Dixoho leaned in closer, Micheal smiled and held her a little tighter. Not so much to make her uncomfortable, just more of a standing cuddle. "She's right, Jasper. Just be yourself. I'm sure you'll have plenty of great opportunities present themselves to you."

"That's what I'm hoping for," Jasper replied with a chuckle, "I figure my odds will never be better."
