Dixoho looked at the body that lay at her feet and sighed. It had been an easy kill the man didn’t even know it was coming when she had poisoned his evening drink as she seduced him. The man had been more concerned that her so-called boyfriend would discover them, the boyfriend in question was more confused as to why she suddenly seemed not interested to worry if she was seducing other men. If only Lorenzo had realised that the second he had mentioned someone had been accessing the kitchen and that he had discovered that some of his ingredients had been tampered with that his life would be over.
She glanced up as the door to quarters opened and in walked her partner in crime. “Hello, Luka.” She greeted him with a smirk.
"... Truly couldn't help yourself, could you?" Luka said with a tut, disdainfully staring at the body in front of him. "... He was the chef. Someone's going to miss him, don't you think?"
Dixoho stepped up to the man and pouted just a little. "He was actually getting very suspicious of you." She told him touching his cheek with one finger before she turned to get dressed into her clothes that were strewn across the room.
Luka held up the shirt she had tossed across the back of a chair, inspecting it for any signs of evidence, although he did not expect any. He glanced over, handing the shirt over when she was ready for it. "You were getting bored, weren't you?"
"Well, that as well but he was a very poor lover as well. He worried far too much that we would be caught. He was clueless about the danger in the room compared to outside." She said with a shrug as she took the shirt not turning away from him as she did it up. She turned to look at the man lying lifeless on the floor and just sat in the chair crossing her legs. The life she had had took truly didn't mean anything to her, or if these people thought badly of her, it wasn't her life she was currently living.
"They worry about age here. You were young, he was not so much." Luka gave a sigh. "You know how difficult it's going to be to hide the fact that your DNA is all over him? I hope you have a cover story. There's no way to mask that in this universe."
"So he thought because I am young that I wouldn't slit his throat... How quaint." Dixoho mused. "Could chuck him in the shower?" She shrugged not at all concerned, as far as she was concerned by the time anything came up they would already be in an ion storm on there way home.
Luka frowned. "No, they'd smell that eventually before we're found out. We need to hide it in plain sight, but not too plain. Hiding him on the bridge makes no sense, and his kitchens are too obvious. Someone would suspect instantly... Did you get all the traces of your DNA off of him?"
"I was suggesting the shower to get rid of my DNA on him." She said with a roll of her eyes. She couldn't imagine they would be very quick in checking for DNA anyway and they were less than twelve hours from where they should be for the ion storms. "Just chuck him in the kitchen... well once we dress him that is." The woman smirked a little more.
"Once you dress him," Luka corrected. "I didn't take his clothes off, I'm not putting them back on. How do you suggest either of us haul the body without getting DNA all over it after the shower? We won't be able to make it to the kitchen without notice. Everyone's on high alert... We should burn it or toss it in Engineering. There's enough going on there that it shouldn't be a problem."
"I didn't undress him. He did that all by himself dear." The woman said with a smirk. Lorenzo had been far too eager, it had been over in a flash. "You're medical... we have a gurney..." Dixoho said with a roll of his eyes as he stood to started looking for clothes for the now dead man.
Luka's brow furrowed. "Don't abuse that. Simply because I have the gurney doesn't mean we should use it. We need to be more careful about how we're utilizing their resources, or they'll catch onto us."
"We have twelve hours to go." The woman said with a shrug as she moved to start doing what was needed to be done/
Once the man had been chucked in the sonic shower and dressed he was laid on the bed. "You could have helped just a little more you know." The woman said with a huff as she took off the gloves and mask he had provided in his worry about them being caught. 12 hours and they would be at the Ion storm.
"No, this is your kill. I thought you'd like to do the honors." Luka frowned, mask pulled down around his neck and gloves still on. "We're too close to home for all this to blow up in our faces now. We have to be careful."
Saa just frowned. It had become so much easier without her alternative's boyfriend being around despite how much fun it had been to tease him, it was a shame she wouldn't get to see her alternative reaction to it all. "Twelve hours is all we have Luka... Relax," She breathed moving over to touch his shoulders.
"You're not the one who's ass is on fire right now." Luka said plainly, eyes meeting hers. Tempted as he may have been, the thought of anything happening near the cadaver they were conversing next to put him off from it. His hand, however, set itself upon Dixoho's. "We have to maintain cover."
" Your ass is on fire? I am maintaining cover very well thank you very much. No, I managed to get rid of her Boyfriend and the only person who would have realised anything was different." She teased him with a small smirk. "You are the only using the Exuctive Officer."
"No, I'm leading her down a wild goose chase." Luka shrugged. "If Alika doesn't want to be found, she won't be found. There are too many crevices and cracks in this god awful universe for me to find her. I meant back home. We have to do this perfectly."
"What so you are not trialled and executed as a traitor to the Empire?" The woman demanded with a smirk. She knew that he wasn't a traitor but the sins of the sister would be the only thing anyone saw. "Don't worry we will get the ass home to our universe." She promised with a squeeze of his hand.
"She can rot in this universe for all I care," Luka let out with a hiss. "She's been nothing but trouble since she helped Hamish hide from us, and she won't be any less when we get her." He tilted his head toward the corpse lying next to them. "We should get this out of here before anyone decides to exchange recipes with him, though. Then we can have fun later."
"Hamish must have been dead years by now. She more than likely just liked this universe after she was sent here." The woman said as her gaze turned to look at the corpse as well and just grinned. "Who says I want to have fun, Luk... What would my husband say." She smirked at him knowing the man would go mental and that the woman wouldn't care.
"As if that ever bothered you. " Luka pointed out, before pointing at the door with his thumb. "Now let's go."
