Hal just stood, looking out of a viewport, lost in his own thoughts. He stood in his favorite spot, one he had since "the old days." That's what he called them at least. Truth be told he missed the Ishimura, so he took every minute he could to reminisce.

"Why is the coffee not working?" Eden asked as she came up behind Hal. "It used to work, have they changed it? I'm not sure I want to live in a universe where coffee is not the same. They've just gone too far with the changes and I have to draw the line somewhere."

"Oh yeah, totally." Hal said. "They certainly don't make stuff like they used to. Where we actually made coffee, not "replicated" it."

She slid down onto the floor next to the viewport where Hal was gazing. It was going to be a bad day, the kind she didn't know how she was going to make it through. "Have you eaten? Maybe I just need some food in me."

"Sounds good to me." Hal said.

"Has anything changed that much, I mean how long have you been awake? Have you noticed anything different around here aside from the obvious. Are rooms still in the same place? Is any of the old technology still on board." Eden realized she was probably asking too many questions. "Sorry," she sighed.

"Not that I've seen, Eden." Hal said. "I've been awake a little while, and still a little overwhelmed to be honest. Some in the same place. Am I ramblin'?" He asked.

Eden shook her head, though for him it might be as she'd heard very little from him since they met. "Don't worry about it. I'm sure I'll get used to things, eventually." She patted him on the back. "I might not be the best company, but do you want to get a cup of coffee?"

"That sounds awesome." Hal said. "We can talk better that way."
