Eden was finally leaving her quarters. She'd decided to stop worrying about what everyone thought of her and return to her job since she was feeling perfectly fine. She'd washed and brushed her hair, braided it and pulled it into a bun on the back of her head. Upon exiting her quarters she nearly ran into someone she assumed was just walking by, until she saw who it was. "S- I mean Captain! I'm sorry." She took a step back to give him some space.

Sebastian frowned for a moment at the fact he had been barged into again before he softened and looked her over. "We need to stop meeting like this Ensign." He murmured as someone walked past them meaning he had to use her rank.

"If you mean that I need to stop plowing into you, then yes sir. I completely agree with that. At least I didn't get knocked to the ground this time though." Eden replied softly.

"No. I must be getting pudgy." He said with a small smirk as he watched the ensign walk around the corner and he gently took Eden's elbow and lead her down a corridor around another corner. "How are you feeling?" He asked seriously looking her over.

"I'm fine," she answered sincerely looking up into his eyes. "I wish I could remember exactly what happened, everything seems to be a bit fuzzy. I remember crash landing and I remember the purple sky and a tree and something about a burst of light but I couldn't tell you what any of that meant or details of any of it. That's kind of frustrating. And I feel like people are staring at me since I got back and I don't know why." She sighed. "But physically I'm fine."

"They are staring because of how the group came back. Lots of yelling and violence from one of your members." He said gently. It would pass soon enough, the crew were just expecting something to happen. It wouldn't take long for things to go back to normal.

"Hmm," Eden said, not believing him. She shrugged it off. "Anyway, I thought I'd go back on duty. That way I'm not sitting around wondering." Eden suddenly got up the courage to touch him, her fingers resting on his arm for a moment before she leaned closer to him and pressed a quick kiss against his cheek. "But thank for checking on me."

The man smiled softly and nodded it. He was pretty sure that she didn't believe him at all but it was the truth he was in the shuttle bay when they had been brought back. "Have you been clear to go back on duty?" He wondered quietly wishing they were somewhere more private.

"Yes, doctor just said whenever I felt I was feeling up to it. Nothing wrong with me physically anymore, nothing that a good sleep didn't cure anyway. I didn't have a scratch on me from the crash."

"That is good to hear. Mentally though?" He wondered softly thinking that had been the main concern for the Psychological Officer on the return from the planet.

"As I don't remember most of what happened down there, I'm not traumatized by anything." Eden assured him. "And I tried being still and thinking about what happened, it didn't help." She shrugged. "I might as well make myself useful right?"

The man wasn't sure that the woman wouldn't suddenly remember but nodded. "If you want to do I guess if Medical has approved I can't argue." The man said with his own shrug. It would be hard to rationalise to Medical if he didn't want to reveal whatever this was to the wholes ships company.

"Do you not want me to go back on duty?" Eden turned her head slightly like a curious dog studying the reactions of her human. "I could wait a day if you're feeling uneasy about it." She didn't mind delaying if she had something to do. She knew it was only out of concern for her.

"I'm concerned about you." He said gently. Was that a good enough reason to delay her going back on duty? Would he be like this if it was anyone else? He knew he wouldn't be as the woman had snuck into his heart with her quirkiness and almost innocent.

Though Eden believed she was perfectly fine, both mentally and physically. She could not disregard Sebastian's worry over her. "Okay, I will stay in my quarters another day, for you." She knew she would brush off anyone else's concern. Eden didn't know how to explain it but Sebastian had this heat about him that she was drawn right into. It enveloped her when they were close. He was reserved in his actions toward her on the outside but melting on the inside. She wanted nothing more than to be close and melt right along with him.

"Stay in my quarters?" He offered gently unsure of the look on her face. The man wanted nothing more than to take things further than they had so far but he knew she was no Fransceca Milligan that was for a fact and that made whatever he was feeling for her a lot stronger and overpowering.

Eden smiled. Where she hadn't been sure before, she was now. Sebastian loved her. She wasn't even sure he realized it. But it was a great feeling, almost relief. It was always in the back of her mind before, that somehow he was just teasing her through all this. "Sure, let me grab a few things. Or do you want me to meet you there later?"

"I've still got a few hours of my shift left but you go on the door will let you in." The man assured quietly. It would be nice to know that she would be there hopefully when he got back from the walk around he had planned or the command cadets that he had to brief.

"Sure." Eden nodded. "I'll see you later then." She touched his arm again briefly and let him go, heading back into her quarters for a few minutes.
