Alexis mumbled something to herself as she walked into the Intelligence Lab and stopped dead as she saw it was empty, not even the Chief Intelligence Officer himself. “Liam?” She called out confused. He had requested her to come to the Intelligence lab at this time yet he was not there.

Liam was underneath a console, not up to much apart from tinkering with some parts but he heard his name called out. Popping his head up he noticed his better half had made her way to his humble work place. "Alexis? What are you doing here?" he asked forgetting he'd asked her to be there at this time.

"What are you doing down there?" Alexis asked back before she held up the PaDD that held his message asking her to come to meet him on there. "I am guessing this was why you asked me hours ago to come and see you around now to get you out for the evening." Alexis realised with a grin holding out her hand to pull him up.

"Well I would be lying if I said I wasn't sick of seeing the inside of this console... engineering is too busy to fix it themselves." he chuckled and as he prodded it he got a little shock. Laughing a little at his accident he looked at Alexis. Rubbing his hand he smiled, "Plus who doesn't want a beautiful woman to come save him from such tedious work." he added flashing his crisp blue eyes.

Alexis moved over to where he sat on the floor and sat down next to him. "I did a minor in Engineering. Let me help?" She said without hesitation as she rubbed his hand to check he hadn't hurt himself more than she suspected he already had.

"Engineering was never a forte of mine," Liam admitted as he stood up scratching his head a little. He let Alexis glide past him watching as she began to move down to fix the faulty equipment. "You were always much better with your hands." he said suggestively.

Alexis found herself smiling at his suggestive comment and ducked her head out to look at him. "I am pretty sure it was why you liked me in the first place, Liam." She answered back before ducking her head back under. Within a moment the console was humming to life. "So what do I get as a reward for sorting out your console spook?" She wondered standing up with a grin on her face.

"Well you were awful persuasive if I remember rightly?" he half asked as he saw the console light up. Pulling her close into him, their bodies pressing he smiled. His hand was on the small of her back, the other flowing through her hair and as he stared into her eyes he said, "I am sure I can think of a reward you will be happy with." His eyes lighting up.

“I think I was. You intrigued me.” Alexis said allowing him to press her close. She enjoyed how easy was now for him to show her affection and just how much she enjoyed having him show her how he felt. “Oh really? You my dear husband have a very naughty imagination.”

Liam laughed and gave her a kiss. "That I do my love. Some things just don't change." he grinned. "And I hope I still intrigue you now?"

Alexis smiled at the kiss as it only encouraged him and his thoughts. "That is illegal." The woman commented tapping his nose teasingly before caressing his stubbled cheek. "Liam you always intrigue me but we are going home. I am tired after searching the base for clues." She told him firmly.

"Home?" he asked. "Sounds fine with me." he added skipping over the illegal comment. He was unsure as to what she meant but half the stuff on his monitors was of illegal activities. Her hand on his face was warm and he instantly closed his eyes to it.

Alexis smiled and pulled away. It took moments to put the casing back on the console and wait for him to store and put away his stuff. It was not a long trip back to what was now their quarters. "So it is all sorted. This is our quarters." She revealed stepping in.

"Wow, you've done an amazing job. You were always far more creative with this sort of thing than I was." He said looking around. It was nice they had moved back in with each other. Their relationship had moved to a point where it was going forward. They were now in a place of comfort, in his mind anyway. Liam noticed she had put out pictures of them together around the room, old ones from before. He didn't know she had kept them, but why wouldn't she have?

The Security Officer sighed letting out the breath she had not realised she had been holding as she looked at him relieved. "Of course I kept them. I was not so angry to throw everything away." Alexis commented picking up his thoughts as she picked up the one from there wedding day. It had been a beautiful day and they had, had so much fun unlike a lot of weddings. "I love old fashioned photos." She added looking at it thoughtfully.
