Meghan felt better as they finished their walk in one of the observation lounge. The woman lay snuggled up against the man who was meant to be her bodyguard as she balanced a drawing in her lap drawing something from memory.

“This is how I looked when I first came to Earth.” She whispered to the man showing the image to him.

He glanced down at it, tracing his fingers over the image and trying to imagine her as she once was. "Alright." He said. "Why are you showing me?"

Blonde, frizzy hair almost fully covered a long, lived-in face. Eye unchanged from now, set graciously within their sockets as she wore an outfit that would not look out of place in a museum. There is something different about her in the drawing other than her complete change, perhaps it's her fortunate future that she had yet to come or perhaps it is simply how young she is.

“Because I want all of me to know you.” She whispered not looking up at him.

There was something about her that seemed so worldly and yet so innocent at times. She could one minute be fully engaged in teasing him with kisses and the next have these big eyes looking up at him, or in this instance, looking down at her hands as if she were afraid he would somehow refuse her. "I already told you," he said softly. "I'm yours. Command me at your will," he said, winking at her to break the moment of tension he somehow felt. He bowed low, faking her out and then scooped her up into his arms.

The woman yelped surprised as she was moved from the chair to the lap of this man. She put the paper pad down with the charcoal and ran a finger along his cheek smudging it with the charcoal before she even bothered to answer. “I do not want to command you. I have been a general and a soldier I just want something different and pure.” She said with a kiss to his forehead.

"You don't have to . . . I'm very willing," he said with a grin but they were interrupted before things got too interesting.

Dixoho stopped as she came into the room and stopped as she saw the pair caught up in the moment. She was not sure where to turn but it was rude just watching them. She coughed politely. "Oh... Cami right?" Meghan asked.

"No... d... Yes Cami sorry." Dixoho muttered.

"It's alright, we were just . . . something wrong?" Jax asked, just having this feeling that things were not right with this person.

Meghan grinned at Jax and winked as she moved off of him to try and move on from the obvious awkwardness the Bajoran in front of them felt. She was a young thing and always looked like a dear caught in headlights. “We were fooling around. Are you okay?” Meghan said without a hint of hesitation but she glanced at Jax when he asked about the girl. She did not look right at all, pale and thoughtful were not a good combination at all.

“I am fine so nothing wrong. This is my hiding place. I normally come here to think.” She had been thinking a lot recently about

“I see Dixoho here often but I did not know you came here too,” Meghan commented with a kind smile.

"Sure, you don't need to see a doctor or something. You don't look well to me," Jax replied, actually worried about the woman but then again he was a worrier, it's what made him so good at his job . . . well, former job.

Meghan stayed silent watching her. Something really did not look right with the Bajoran at all, something said that she needed help. “I am fine, just tired, not much sleep last few days. Been a long few days to be fair.” She stuttered through looking at the silent woman rather than the man who seemed to notice that something was not right with her.

“Would you like us to walk you back to your quarters? We do not mind at all it is on the way to ours.” Meghan finally wondered sitting up straighter dust off the charcoal from her light dress. She was acting disinterested where in fact she was concerned.

"Nah, don't mind one bit," came Jax's reply. "Or I can and Meghan can head home."

“I am fine. I will leave you to your ‘stuff’.” Dixoho assured.

“If you are sure Cami. Get some sleep.” Meghan pleaded watching the woman leave the room before she turned to look at Jax with a raised eyebrow.

"What?" He asked, wondering what the look was about.

"Was that not odd for you?" She wondered moving to where he stood taking his hand in hers moving it to her waist.

"You mean the way she was acting? Sure it was. That's why I offered to walk her back to her quarters. But I can't make her accept. I hope she makes it back okay. A trip to sickbay should be in her future."

"I guess you are right." Meghan just frowned and moved away to return to her drawing. As he said they could not make her accept the help but it was very odd and Meghan did not like it at all. It was not something she had seen in the woman before.

Jax watched her for a moment. "Do you want me to go after her?" He let out a small sigh, but there was no use. Now he felt he should do something. "You go back to our quarters and I'll go check on her."

Meghan was not sure that she wanted to leave him alone but she nodded and turned to gather up more of her things. “Our quarters huh?” She teased every so slightly at the fact he had never referred to it like that before.

"Yeah," he said rubbing his face. "I've been living there. So . . . ours." He leaned down to kiss her. "I'll go check on Miss Cami and I'll meet you back there in a bit."

"Well, I guess that is true it was that even when you were sleeping in your own bed. I will see you later then in our quarters." She mused caressing his cheek for a second feeling the stubble underneath her fingers before she let him go. She had some time to wander around before she needed to meet him.
