Meghan sat in her favourite observation lounge thinking about the recurring dream she had every night. There was a man with spotted skin, dark hair, and hazel eyes. He had freckles and a beautiful smile. The man would always ask her to marry him, but before Meghan could form a response, she would wake up. It was the same every night and it was draining. The woman ached for him. She wanted him by her side especially now as the woman knew that man was her soul mate and she was feeling so sad. It was pathetic to feel like this but she had messed up. She had sent whispers out into the universe so long ago that she could barely remember the moment that she had done it but it had been around the same time that they had come through to this universe to learn and explore.

Meghan could not for all intents and purposes believe her magic had caused it. What had she done when she had tried to find him? She had not done anything like that in so many years. She was not a child nor infirm in her abilities, she was the master of her own universe. Even as a child she had not done anything like that to anyone, which particularly is quite significant magic users. She had wrecked so many people’s lives but holding her head high she knew what she needed to do to fix it. She needed to fix it even if it drained her and left her void of magic for some time.

She had no candles this time, no time to prepare or time to focus properly as she sat on the cold floor looking at the other ship where people were trying to fix some peoples ship who was very much down on their luck in a particularly big way. She had seen many of them over her eons in the universe but she had never seen mortals so eager and willing to help them despite their own issues. It was beautiful to see now that she no longer had feared.
She shook those thoughts away as she focused on the wanting to know, wanting to find out if they were meant to be, a circle of electric blue light began to form around her like it had last time. Rising slowly to her waist height, it paused momentarily as she glanced to her left as the items around the observation deck stirred in the air.

The blue circle, now a glowing rectangle, confined by the compartment, shot away from her as the magic expanded so much further than it had last time searching out everyone is had affected including the ones on the refugee ship. Meghan gasped and collapsed to the groundbreaking her connection to the magic as she felt it had been enough time. The light dissolved into nothingness leaving her unconscious on the floor of the observation lounge and the items that had moments before been floating falling to the floor with thuds.
