Meghan was not sure why she was being called down to sickbay. She pulled on a cardigan and tied a hair up in a ponytail. It was not an unusual request but she was surprised that Vinny was doing it over the comm system. Ever since her visit to sickbay two days ago they had been talking at mealtimes over music and their love of Betazoid chimes much to Jaxom's confusion. He was a silent figure but Meghan could see the confusion all over his features that she shrugged off that she would show the Trill later on.

Vinny had not mentioned needing to see her again so even as they walked to Sickbay Meghan found herself thinking what the request could be about, she felt fine.

“Doctor Anjes?” She called politely seeing how busy sickbay was.

From his biobed, in the far back corner of sickbay, Micheal saw the woman enter. While she was attractive, like Vinny had mentioned, he wasn't swayed. His heart belonged to but one woman.

Not saying a word, he remained motionless, keeping his eyes open to slits, as he lay in the dark, pretending to sleep.

Vincent smiled and gave a wave, motioning to have Meghan join him in a less crowded area. "Miss Massachusetts, thank you for coming down. I know this was unexpected, but there has been an anomaly on board involving other crew members. Captain Gregnol has a working theory and wanted to speak with you. It may explain your sudden exhaustion."

“Of course. The Captain is free to discuss anything with me at any point.” She murmured without missing a beat as she noticed the Captain and a young woman sat waiting for her. Meghan looked at the man then back at Jaxom her face fell as she took a few steps towards the doctor. She did not know what to think but something was telling her that they either knew or suspected what she was. What was going on, on this ship for everyone to be acting so strangely. Dixoho on the observation deck and then that kid medic with all the strange stuff on body swapping.

Vinny placed a hand out for Meghan to grasp if she desired, he could see the anxiety building and wanted to assure his friend that she would be safe. "I promise you, as your friend and Doctor, no harm is going to come to you. They only want to ask a couple questions because they are hopeful you can help them. You are an amazing person and I think you may not realize how special you are. Especially to me." Vinny gave a nod towards the small group of people. "You are safe. This is only to inquire about how, or if, you can help some of the ship members. Meghan, I would never lie to you. I hope you can trust me."

The woman trusted him but did she trust all the other people in the room. Not one of them had caused her any trouble or gave her any cause for alarm. She slowly took a few steps forward but did not take the offered hand at all wrapping her arms around her.

“So how could I help?” She wondered looking at Gregnol before the young woman next to him coughed politely.

“Look Meghan that isn’t me...Gregnol. We have been swapped. I’m Gregnol.” Gregnol admitted with a sigh.

As the truth was suddenly revealed the atmosphere suddenly became tense and as she realised what had happened the night that she had done the big spell. She put her hand to her mouth scared which made the magic seep out into the room temperature drop and ice appear out of nowhere wrapping everyone into place. “I am so sorry.” She breathed looking around as her breath fogged in front of her. Gregnol looked down at the ice.

“Meghan, we do not blame you. We do not think you’ve done this on purpose. But the people that are helping the refugees know that you are a species called Megas-Tu and they are scared .” he tried to explain as he tried to free himself.

"So if we just do the switcheroo thing again, everything will be fine and back to normal and everyone will be happy," Eden replied cheerfully, not caring one iota what race Meghan was.

He was suddenly startled by the sudden drop in air temperature and formation of ice on several surfaces. "Uh, guys?!" He called out, dropping the sleeping act as he tried to rise to his feet. "The hell's going on?!"

"Brrr," Beya hugged herself, rubbing her arms. Orions were not built for cold. "We want people swapped back in their correct bodies, not the ship swapped with Andoria."

Vinny pulled his labcoat tight around him and dusted the ice off of the arms of the coat. "Wow, that is cold," he said, knowing his coffee was no longer hot. "Let's everyone just calm down for a sec. Miss Massachusetts, let's try and relax. Maybe I can help you, help us."

Gregnol looked on as the ice that was slowly growing thicker and thicker around his legs making it impossible to move as he took in the woman’s fear in the maelstrom of sickbay as the power consumed her. “Meghan look at me.” He demanded to bring her attention to him. The woman looked so scared, he was thankful in that second that he was in Eden’s body and not his own. “We are not going to hurt you. The Fenris Rangers once they know you are not going to hurt you over my dead body.” He assured.

Meghan ignored him for a second before looking at him. He had honest eyes but even the windows to the soul could deceive. “Someone said that to me before and kept me a slave for decades.” She shot back as a voice came through the communication system.

“We need to transfer the refugees to sickbay.” The male voice stated.

"Teleport them then," Gregnol answered much to the shock of the whole room as people started appeared in the space. He was pretty sure that Meghan would not harm them and instantly as she took in the people the temperature started rising and the look on her face relaxed just a little.

"I'll get beds ready," Beya said, taking the excuse the move to warm up, as well as the responding to an expected influx of patients in Goddess alone knew what condition.

Vinny smiled at Meghan. "It'll be okay. You'll see." The doc then turned and gave a nod to the Captain as he looked towards Beya. "Beya, we need to get the surgical beds ready. I'll get that started and you can direct triaging, but I'll need you for any surgeries. Also, can someone get Oliver down here? Everyone else in here, you're now part of the med triage team. Congratulations and welcome. Captain, I can use whatever hands you can spare."

"Yes, Doctor," Beya practically glowed at the idea of being needed for surgeries. "I'll make sure we have triox, stims, and antibiotics at the ready. If their enviro systems were damaged, they may all need those."

Micheal felt bad, taking up a much needed biobed, but, as he was still in no condition to really go anywhere at the moment, he had to stay put and do nothing, powerless to help those poor refugees that were being beamed into sickbay.

Meghan backed up and looked around the sickbay trying to take in what was going on and who these people were. She could still feel the power running through things wanting out she held it in. These people were good people and she could see it in their eyes as they instantly moved to help people offering her no hate or malice despite what she had done. Slowly she turned away and walked into the sickbay office sitting down on the chair trying to think through her options she needed to make this right but she didn’t know how to start.
