Talon arrived at the lounge early so he could arrange the alcohol that he procured on the bar. He was glad that he caught the code that the Iron Pub's owner pressed into his cellar door. With the code in memory, Talon was able to pilfer two more cases. With the size of this team and the amount they drank, four cases might not have been enough to have something to stock the lounge for the journey.

Reuben had made the ship wide announcement of the party. Hopefully, it would go well and they'd begin to know each other and bond as a team. Talon decided to tend the bar, seeing show there was no real bartender. He felt comfortable in the role and wished people would start showing.

Well it's not the first little shin dig she'd been told about.. Tabitha wasn't actually a good drinker, seems she got to loose in that case.. NO one on this crew needed to know that.. She entered the bar and found it decidedly empty. She found Talon the tall and handsome Bajoran behind the bar. It didn't seem to fit in her mind.. "Well I didn't expect you behind the bar mister??" She said, leaning back against the bar..

Talon laughed at her wit. "Beings how we don't have a tender and I procured the booze, I guess I'll be your humble servant tonight."

Of course, with her looks, he'd be her servant any time she wanted. Bracing himself with both hands on the bar, he asked, "What'll it be Tabs? Oh, and you can call me Joss."

Temptation, Lords help Her.. Tabitha gave the large man a look.. No way was she giving up this easily. "Sorry Tally, But I'm Not getting drunk first, a good old fashioned Root bear for the moment.." He was a strapping older male and Lords she could get in trouble there...

The next to filter in was Alika Mahone, who had taken her cue from many Ferengi on what good and bad drinking habits were. At the announcement of a 'party,' the young woman bounced into the scene, finding possibly the squishiest seat the bar and sliding her rear upon it. "I didn't know this place had a bar. It's cute."

Talon slapped his forehead sending his earring dangling as he jokingly answered, "I knew there was something I forgot!"

She looked nice in her white top. He smile at the newcomer arriving. He hoped more arrived, but for now, he'd enjoy the presence of these two fine looking ladies. The second looked rather young to be here. He hadn't met her yet, but that was what this function was for.

"Sorry, Tabs!" Talon responded to her. "I seriously only had time to procure alcohol."

The other young woman seemed distant despite her practised pleasantness.. Tabitha's natural senses could feel the chip on her shoulder.. This would be interesting. She glanced back at the Bajoran male that was calling to her womenhood like a siren. Lords she was going down a dangerous road. But was she really.. She turned around leaning over the counter balancing on a stool..

"Listen mister.." She said in a whisper.. "You and alcohol are troubles waiting to happen...Trouble I Might WANT to get into tonight...But start Nice and smooth.." She purred. "By the way, I'm telepathic, Not sure if that's a deal breaker.."

Talon winked at the cute blond. Teasingly he stated, "Smooth...that leaves chech'tluth out of the question!"

"And what can I get the young lady?" Talon asked Alika.

The sides of Alika's lips tipped upward in a mischievous smirk. One of the more common drinks on Earth was a subject of much humor, as many bartenders tended to not know exactly what that was. Perhaps Talon was fortunate enough to have run into one in his travels, but the only way to know was, of course, to ask. "A Blue Hawaiian, if you would please."

"Would that be with or without vodka," Talon inquired the young looking Alika. "Some like the vodka added for an extra punch." Then he teased her by saying, "Are you sure your old enough to be drinking this stuff?"

"Old enough to know what one is and to know that vodka's a good idea." Alika grinned, unoffended by the comment. "So yes please, Mr. Tender of the Bar."

While listening to Alika, Talon was pouring a drink for Tabitha. It was something he had learned early in his practice, listening while doing.

Handing the blue drink to Tabitha, he softly spoke, "One Altarian Brandy for the lovely lady." He whispered, "Smooth as a baby's bottom. Believe me, I've delivered a few."

Tabitha had had a few in her time.. "Ok Joss, I'm relying on you to watch my behind.." She said. She slide back into her seat and took a swig.."

Joss glanced over the bar as he mixed Alika's drink, grinning. "Believe me, I have no issue with that!"

Tabitha smiled.. "How are things Alika??" She took a small sip of the decent drink.. Smiled.. "Think we'll actually get where we're going??"

The dark-haired Mahone child looked Tabitha up and down. She recognized her from previous gatherings, but the name of the girl escaped her. Tilting her head to one side curiously, Alika held her hand out for a shake. "Hello!... I don't believe I caught your name..."

"Tabitha.." She took Alika's elegant hand.. "Sorry I'm really good with names and faces, Most days anyway.." Not sure what you do haven't seen you at work??" She then lowered her voice. "Might get distracted, Joss is tuning me up nicely at the moment..."

Meanwhile Erim tried his best to slip in unnoticed. The Bolian was nothing if not stealthy. He tried never to drink except for when he drank heavily and excessively. Tonight just be one of those nights. He eyed the two women at the bar, not being one to be fooled by a pretty face. Those were the least trustworthy.

"Let me have one of whatever you're serving." he said, keeping his distance.

"Hello, my fine man," Tallon greeted the Bolian. Joss held his hand out palm down in the traditional Bolian greeting. "I'm Talon Joss, one of the doctors on board. One Draylaxian whiskey on the rocks coming up!"

Tabitha noticed the Bolian. The quiet Bolian didn't 'feel' right, this gave her a warning.. He had something untrusting about him.. His expressionless nature was also suspect. BUT, She was already alcohol fueled.. "Come on now Mister, We're supposed to try and get close, Do we look harmful to you??"

Tabitha took a straw from the bar and shoved it into her drink, It was near empty. She was a tue lightweight and was getting swervy already.. She looked back to Joss. "Well I warned you didn't I??" She walked carefully around the bar up next to the beautiful male.. She spied what looked like an entertainment system. "Yes!!" She stabbed at the board and found some good old American Rock and roll. She brushed past Joss, rubbing into him purposefully.. She than found the drink house and yelled out.. "BAR TENDER IN TRAINING!! Who's first?"

Talon laughed as Tabitha came around to the backside of the bar, remembering she had dared him to keep an eye on her backside. As the music kicked in, Talon's earring began to sway as he kept time with the beat. He got a better look at her backside as she raised the volume.

"I welcome your help, especially as the rest of the crew arrives," he spoke over the music. "Besides, it gives me a better angle to watch your behind." He gave her a chuckle and a wink, then refilled his glass with some of the Draylaxian whiskey. He raised the glass toward Tabitha and smiled, saying, "To new relationships!"

She surprised him and herself.. She turned to him, since her drink was empty anyway.. She took the mug in both hands stared him in the eye and took a single seductive sip.. Than she spun away in a burst of inspiration. She moved to the console and interlinked the ship wide comm. "ALL Hands, this is your neighborhood fix-it lady, We have an open bar and good old American rock N roll With TWO rookie bat tenders, Come and have some fun,, On Us."

All that Talon could think was, That was damn hot! He grinned and took a drink of it himself.

Done with that Tabitha stabbed at the console at the bar, "OK lets try us a Klabnian Fire Tea!!"

That was one drink Joss had never made. Hell, he had never seen it made. Never even heard it ordered.

"I have no experience with that one," Talon admitted. "You'll have to show me how to make that one."

Tabitha giggled. "Neither do I!!" She looked over the instructions more closely,, "Not my fault If this don't work!!" She took out a medium sized glass. She had to stop a minute to program the aged replicator, But finally she was able to start constructing the drink. After almost a full two minutes, She leaned back and held the wand lighter at the rim..

"Okay Tabs," Talon dared with a smirk, "down the hatch."

Erim watched Tabitha light the glass with increasing interest. Like the other men at the bar, he couldn't help but feel captivated by her beauty. He also wondered if he could snag something while the group was distracted by fire. "No" he mumbled to himself, mostly inaudible, "No, not here." There was an old Bolian idiom, never build your fire in your bed, and it certainly applied here. The last thing he needed was to rob his own crewmates. Still, he could feel that tingle in his hands and running down his spine at the mere thought of slipping something valuable into his pocket and making off into the night. Instead he finished his glass and slammed it down onto the bar, almost a little too loudly.

"Sorry." the Bolian muttered, unknowing if anyone could even hear the bang over the music.

"You okay?" Talon asked. "Oh, I see what the problem is. You need another drink!" Talon gave a friendly smile. "Another on the way!"

"You're quite right!" Erim said, smiling slyly. On the rare occasion he did drink alcohol he was practically a bottomless pit.

"You know, I really like your earring." the Bolian pointed out to Talon, "It reminds me a lot of one a close friend of mine had." He wanted to start a conversation somehow but never quite knew what to say. Everyone else there seemed a great deal more charismatic than he.

Talon reached up to rub his earring. "Thank you!" he replied to the Bolian. "It was a gift from my father and contains our family emblem. Your friend was Bajoran?"

Erim sipped his drink and nodded. "Indeed she was, or I should say is. Haven't seen her in a while though."

At that moment, another Bolian entered the lounge. She wore a black blouse, black soft leather slacks and black leather boots up to her knees. Her orange eyes stood out from the color of her clothing. Seeing a Bolian at the bar, Lysina chose to walk to the stool next to Erim.

"Is this seat taken," she asked the Bolian male.

Erim smiled, it was always a welcome sight to see one of his own kind. And at a bar apparently full of beautiful women, she stood out the most. At least to him.

"Please, join me!" the Bolian male said, trying his best to turn on his charm, "I'm Erim Gleb."

It was just at that moment when the doors to the lounge parted to another pair. "I should be in security completing my upgrades, Amelia," said the taller man. Amelia chuckled as she tugged on her companion's arm.

"Of course not, mi amicci! The upgrades can wait until morning, right now, you should enjoy yourself!" She insisted. Rokar sighed as a few of Amelia's staff brushed passed them, carrying trays food and wine into the room.
