Mission: Mission 6 - Azzia
Location: Deck 6 - Crew Bar
Timeline: MD 08 10:00
788 words - 1.6 OF Standard Post Measure

it was quiet on the ship and The Captain didn't mind just how quiet it was for once as he knew his crew were having fun and hopefully stay out of trouble on the planet below. It showed how easy he felt as he walked into the crew far feeling a little smug about the idea and how it had come out of a near fatality of the ship. Maybe he should call it Pheonix's like the old Earth Mythical bird rising out of the ashes?

Seeing no one manning the compartment the Captain went behind pulling down his favourite bottle and started to pour himself a heavy measure just as the door opened and someone joined him in the crew bar.

Suddenly, the door leading out of the bar slid open, and a junior officer entered. After he found the Captain, he quickly moved to Reuben's side and informed him that Dixoho Saa had not reported in for her duty shift, nor was she answering her commbadge.

Reuben frowned and shook his head that wasn't like the read head at all. "What about Robertson?" He had been surprised as anyone else to discover that the man was now in some type of relationship with the woman. It seemed like it was developing well so maybe they had just gotten distracted.

The officer shook his head and said that the Armory Chief had disappeared as well. As he was one of Robertson's deputies, he knew that Micheal always wore a communications unit on his wrist, keeping him connected to the A.I. in his shuttle. The junior officer had gone to the shuttle first, to see if the A.I. Could locate her owner. Unfortunately, she had failed. All that her records showed, was that at thirteen hundred the day before, the link had been severed. As this had never happened during her lifetime, she was concerned that something had happened. When the officer said that he was going to inform the Captain, Rebecca requested that he also relay to Reuben that she would help in any way that she could.

Quang wandered into the bar. A book bag was slung over his shoulder, containing his tricorder and comm unit. He overheard the remnants of the captain's conversation.

The quartermaster walked up to to the bar and leaned against it. "Captain, what's this about Mike? I just caught the last of what you were saying?"

Reuben sighed softly as he realised that it properly wasn't a good thing that they were both missing even if they were together. He pinched the bridge of his nose and fully stood up. "Seems Saa and Roberston are AWOL." He said softly hoping that Fenruse wouldn't be mad if he left her as Officer in Charge until he fixed the situation.

Tran nodded in response. "No reply on their comms I take it either? Okay, well that's definitely not like Mike, and I didn't get a feeling of non-responsibility from Saa either. So assuming the worst, we need to find them."

He thought, and then continued. "I admit this port of call is a bit far from my usual contacts, but I think I know a couple of contacts that might help us find them. One's closely offworld, and one should be onworld right now. They're both good and very close to the ground. I should be able to find out something and quickly. You want me to?"

Reuben had just about to open his mouth to ask the man if he actually thought him silly but stopped as the nearest comm interface went off demanding his attention. "Da Gregnol." The man said with a sigh as he listened to the voice on the other end. This day was going to get more complicated by the second. "Seems we have people looking for them now."

Quang waited for an answer. He understood what he had volunteered and wanted to make sure that when he did it there wouldn't be any remarks of innocence. He didn't believe that Reuben was that kind of person but you could never tell.

"I don't like this," Tran said. "This smells familiar and bad. My family has had this happen before. As soon as this shakes out, I'll call my contacts. The longer we wait to help them, the more complicated it can get."

Reuben shook his head and sighed. It was complicated the fact they now had a boarding part onboard made it more serious. "Just stay calm and let me deal with the Azzians. It was his job as Captain to kick them off his ship.
