Gregnol looked up as Reessem knocked on the door and indicated that the man he was waiting for had arrived. Reuben had met him on the base and had conducted a quick interview but events involving his Chief Navigator and Chief Armory Officer had finished the interview process very quickly. "Come in Come in." The Captain called rising from his seat as the man appeared in the doorway instead of the teenager that was one of the Administrators.

Tucker stepped through the doorway and smiled at the Captain as he approached the man's desk. "Captain Gregnol, it's good to see you again. I wanted to thank you again for the opportunity. What else did you need to know about me?"

"Just Gregnol will do or Reuben." The Captain said simply as he pointed to the chair for him to sit down. "Well, we are helping each other out. I need someone to get operations back on par and you need to get out of this area of space." The man said thinking he might come to Azzia more often it seemed a good area to get crew as they were desperate to get out of the temporal space anomaly.

"Rueben... It'll be an interesting change to be on a first name basis with my Captain," Tucker answered as he sat down in the chair and settled in. "I'm not sure I'm in a rush out of this area of space, I got a girl down on Azzia I'd like to see once in a while, at least when the business takes us there."

"We are leaving the area. I'm not sure when we will be back." The Captain said gently wondering if the man would change his mind with that news. It wasn't an area of space that many were called to due to the planet being inside temporal space anomaly.

Tucker hadn't been on Azzia for very long, it wasn't home for him. After a slight shrug, he spoke, "That's fine, I wasn't expecting to be in port all the time. That's the life."

"Not much traffic to Azzia that is the problem," Reuben said sadly thinking the planet would many memories for him to say the least. Maybe they could come back next year for the festival it had certainly despite Dixoho and Micheal's run-in with a bounty hunter been an amazing experience.

"I don't know that she's going to stay on Azzia, it was a port of convenience for both of us. She's a hell of an engineer though, so I have no doubt she'll land on her feet," Tucker shrugged one of his shoulders. "I'd never heard of it until it popped up as a potential place to run to."

"It has only been known to the universe a few years." The Captain revealed thoughtfully. It was a beautiful world, it reminded him of Betazed before the war.

"I'd like to know more about how it was discovered, what little I did see I really liked," Tucker said with a nod.

"Very closed about that," Gregnol commented on. It was interesting the society that pretty much worshipped time and everything about it. "But alas onwards and upwards and away from Azzia. So you understand the role that I am asking you to fill onboard?"

"I do, this ship might be a little old compared to what I'm used to, but the duties are about the same to what I did in Starfleet," Tucker replied. "It'll be nice to be Operations again, instead of a gun for hire."

Reuben chuckled softly. He knew that feeling very well and was pretty sure he would be the same if Starfleet Intelligent didn't have a hold of him or if Barton was still running the ship. "Operations isn't far removed from Starfleet on any ship." It really was a status quo position on any and all ship, power still needed to flow around the ship one way or another.

"No, it really isn't. There's something to be said for consistency," Tucker flashed the Captain a half smile. "Anything you want me to focus my department on? I'm sure there's plenty to be done on an old girl like this."

"Power... reliable power regulation." The Captain said without a second thought. The ship had always suffered power fluctuations normally caused by kinks in the relays around the ship thanks to The Collector and his modifications. "I know the crew would like to have power all the time and in the right areas." Let alone he would like to not wake up to loss of power alarms.

"I'll take a look at the power systems and start unraveling that knot," Tucker said with a firm nod. "I know this ship is a little more automated than most, how many Operations staff do I have?"

"The ship can run on Five people." It was highly unusual but from studying things he was pretty sure that The Collector had been the only person ever on the bridge. "Seven." Reuben was still working on getting more but operations was hard to come by on a slightly dodgy ship.

"A little smaller than I'm used to, but I'll manage," Tucker said with a nod. "It also sounds like I have a lot to learn about this ship. I think I should get to it. Is there anything else Rueben?"

The man shook his head quickly. There was nothing else he could tell him, most of the rest would have to be learnt on the job and very quickly. "I believe not." The Captain said with a shrug, she might be an old ship but she had more automation than Starfleet ships which was nice.

"It's that's all, I'll get to it Captain," Tucker replied with a smile.
