Dixoho watched as the pair disappeared off and shook her head. How was it after so many years the man followed the Inquisitor like a lost little puppy. Hadn’t she done enough to show her worth after all these years? Did this sound has cliché and foolish as she imagined it was? She was a killer and had been since the day she was born but what was it with this man that made her so weak? Even his alternative had done the same.

The woman wanted to go back to her temporary quarters or back to her ship but it was impossible when she felt this angry. She stomped down to where the computer told her the man's temporary quarters were whilst he was on this ship and shook her head. “Are you going to let me in or what?” She demanded when the door didn’t automatically open like normal.

After a few beats, the door unlocked and slid open, allowing the Trill to enter. Micheal was still at his desk, leaning back in his chair, facing his guest. His eyes moved deliberately over every visible curve of Dixoho's lithe form. "What has you so heated, my love?"

"What is it with you and that Inquisitor? Always whispering in corners or something?" She wondered as she leaned against the door frame, wondering what he was working on.

Micheal smiled inwardly for two reasons. One, to see Dixoho jealous added more creedence, in his mind, that she truly did care for him and it wasn't all for show. Secondly, he picked up on her curiosity of what he was doing, however, by not asking, she showed that she trusted him, at least some. "Selina? Sweetheart, if you are concerned that anything is happening there, rest assured, there isn't. While we did used to date one another, as I told you in the beginning of our relationship, there is no longer any fire there between us. We are friends, pure and simple. She had some information that I might find useful."

"Of course not..." She rolled her eyes. "But you drop everything to follow her every time." The Trill shook her head. What was it will men and Betazoid, her own husband had an obsession with one enough that he risked everything to get to her.

Micheal arched his right eyebrow as he remained in his seat, looking at the beautiful Trill. "Did it ever occur to you that I could be using her for information?" He stood and slowly moved over to stand in front of Dixoho. With his right hand, he lifted her chin, so he could look in her eyes. "Never forget this, no matter whom I was with before you, you are the woman I am with now. My loyalty is with you."

"For now." The woman hissed showing the level of annoyance she was feeling in an unusual display of emotions. "Are you using her for information?" She wondered quietly.

Micheal smiled softly, the love and adoration he felt for the woman in front of him very apparent in his remaining undamaged eye. "Yes, I am."

"Anything of use?" The woman demanded, looking away from him as she spoke. She looked around the bridge of the small ship and took in what was on it.

"Some," Robertson replied vaguely. While he did trust Dixoho, he also wanted to protect her. What she didn't know, an Inquisitor couldn't pull from her mind.

Dixoho rolled her eyes as his vagueness and pulled back a little moving to sit on the couch. "So it is this game again." She sighed. She hated when he tried to protect her like that.

Arching his right eyebrow, Micheal watched as Dixoho moved to sit down. "Come now, beloved. There's no reason to be like that. When the time is right, I will tell you what I know. However, for now, trust that I know what I'm doing."

The woman said nothing for a long moment before she shook her head. "Nathen told me he loves me earlier and that he wants to ... I don't know what he wants, but something has changed in him." She revealed softly thinking back to when she had gone back to her quarters.

Micheal's face showed some surprise to this news. He moved to sit on the edge of the table, directly in front of her, his elbows resting on his knees, as he looked into Dixoho's face. "That's certainly a new development." He paused briefly before continuing. "How do you feel about it? Should I be concerned that our relationship might be ending?

"I don't know." The woman thought she was unmoved, but the man's words had shaken her. It was only now, there with the man who always came in and out of her life, that she realized. "He has obviously been rejected by that witch he had been pinning over for years, but I don't know." It was confusing.

Micheal nodded slowly, apparently thinking about his lover's husband. He then leaned closer to Dixoho and softly said, "Anything you need, you know all you need do is ask. I am here, for you."

"Kill the witch." She said, knowing it was impossible, due to the laws surrounding them and that he had a soft spot for them thanks to his past relationship with Fenruse. It was such a mixed up world when she had finally arranged for Nathan to have the woman he had wanted for him to turn around change.

Micheal was silent for a few beats, as he considered her request. Finally, he replied. "Okay. If that's what you want, then I will do it. But first, I need your help with something else." He paused for her reaction.

Dixoho shook her head. While she knew he was usually very good to his word, she also knew that he wouldn’t, couldn't, do it. There were so many laws around killing Betazoids, that it wasn’t worth the risk. “What do you need help with?” She asked moving away from him.

Micheal stayed where he was sitting and told the woman he loved, more than his own life, his plan to free the crew of the Mary Rose and return them to their home universe.
