"So you are telling me this place was used to hold a cult?" Dixoho asked as the small group walked along the top level of the three-level Promenade, once upon a time been used as a public area for commerce and recreation. She had heard the stories of the Cardassian station as a child but it was far from what had been important on a cargo vessel on the other side of the universe.

"And before that, it was used by the Cardassian's for experiments," Rueben added thinking back to all the Security files he had been forced to read in the Academy. He felt a little more jolly being able to relay a little bit of information even if it was the only person who was talking in the gloom that the station gave off. Obviously, the darkness didn't bother Saa at all, she seemed immune to the pitch black.

"Psychotropics," Aurora said as she ran one finger along the wall across the edge of words written in a shaky hand. She would remember and research the words once she had access to a computer. "There were booby traps as well. Presumably, they were all disarmed but it is something to think about." As they reached an open shop door, she stepped in for a moment and looked around. Bare shelves, some broken, and no signs of inventory. "Pity the inventory is gone," she added as she stepped out of the clothing shop. "Hopefully, not true everywhere."

"There should be a manifest of some variety around here somewhere," Alika muttered under her breath. She still held major resentment for the situation. Whether they were getting paid or not, they had suddenly become Starfleet's lapdogs. That was the exact item she was attempting to avoid this whole time. "I'll go looking for it."

"Do you think it will still be in date?" A voice piped up from the communication system they had created that linked into the ship, Reessem Nubohn was listening in carefully to everything they were saying and doing as she had been left behind on the ship deemed too young to go off exploring dark and dangerous places.

"It'll be as in date as we may need it to be," Alika replied with a shrug, moving to a console to check and see if it had power. "It'll have the last known manifest, which may give us a clue as to what we're looking for exactly. Or at least a good direction on where to start."

"As least as far as it goes from back when this was a Cardassian station," Aurora amended. "Who knows how efficient the cultists were."

"They weren't in the slightest," Rueben commented on from his location outside of the shop as he kept watch. He was actually enjoying himself feeling like he was a Security Officer. It was like the years had faded, the only thing out of place was the leather jacket and the weapon that looked like it might tear itself apart with one shot, it was a good job he wasn't relying on it in the slightest. "Well according to the Security logs anyhow and i like to think that they are correct in some shape and form."

"Cult of the Pah-Wraiths," Aurora said. "Hmmm ... While the cultists may have been crazy, the Pah Wraiths themselves were ... are? .... real. Said to have been enemies of the Prophets. Might be worth taking a look at wherever it is they worshipped."

"If they're similar to the Prophets, then what I believe we should find is symbols of energy beings. One would hope." Humili came around the corner and into the computer room, carrying what looked to be a pile of scrolls and books. "But I would think that the 'Pah-Wraiths' also took a form when they were in front of the cult." She made to set the books on the one cleared surface, letting them spread all over. "Shall we?"

Stardust was just there, listening at times, but not over interested in what was being said. She had her small data padd out and number crunching like it was going out of style. She was checking, the latest stock market quotes, checking all sorts of people in case the captain or whoever wanted to buy the Bike wheel, and so much more. Her ears perked up at a possible interest in profit as she looked towards the others.

"I've found some interesting people that would pay for goodies like those." stating Star "scrolls, books, information of any sort to Wraiths. But, what I don't understand is why would a cult be here, when the Wraiths were underground aliens?"

"From what I've read," Aurora said, "they could possess others and it's rumoured that one or more had been trapped in an artefact. Thus the interest though what anyone would do with one is beyond me."

"Worship one, I suppose." Humili offered a lot of documents with a gesture of her arm before diving into one herself. "My languages are a bit rusty, but I'm sure we can put our heads together for some of this, hm?"

Rueben stayed quiet as he let the women discuss the items that were in the shop. He turned and set himself by the door watching the shadows play across the promenade as the emergency lights finally came on illuminating the place a little more. He turned off the light on the rifle but left the scope on just in case.

"Can everyone see better now?" He called back blinking away the globes that were running across his eyes.
