Rueben wiped his face as he stepped onto the bridge from the Turbolift, he wasn't wearing his usual black trousers, tee or leather jacket he wore an Engineer jumpsuit and looked smokey and dirty. He looked around impressed that Alika had kept the ship in one piece while the majority of the crew had been fighting the fire, only Saa and Harkness were on the bridge in an emergency as pilot and navigator.
"Gees you reek... Sir." Dixoho said as he passed her.
"Thank Saa... you smell of daisy's as well." To be honest, the red-headed Trill never looked anything but perfect. He glanced at Alika and rolled his eyes as he took his seat in the middle still trying to get the smoke smudges off of his face. "You said a ship has been following us while we were at Damage Stations?" He asked Alika.
Alika pointed at the communications relay in front of her, frown apparent on her features. "Yeah. We weren't expecting anyone, were we?"
"Not in the slightest." Rueben stood looking worn out and went to the science console leaning to look at the readings properly. "Seems they are hailing us." He mused softly.
:::ALEXANDRIA:::
"Micheal, I have detected a serious explosion aboard that ship," Alex announced inside the small cockpit.
"Can you determine what their status is?" Micheal asked as he continued to manoeuvre them closer to the old Constitution class refit.
A small, three-dimensional image of Alexandria's AI suddenly appeared, standing atop Micheal's control console. "The ship appears to be mostly automated. I am only detecting about a dozen humanoid lifeforms. The after effects of the explosion is making things extremely difficult for me."
Micheal frowned. He was only one man, with a single shuttle. However... "Hail them. Let them know that we detected the explosion and are willing to give any aid that we can."
I'm not too sure about this," Alex muttered in response as she turned and vanished.
:::SS Mary Rose:::
Constitution class vessel," Alex's voice came over the hidden bridge speakers. "This is the privately-owned shuttle, ALEXANDRIA, commanded by Micheal Robertson, Bounty Hunter for hire. We detected your troubles and are hailing to ask if you require any aid. How do you copy?"
"Thoughts?" Rueben asked Alika as he glanced around wondering why a bounty hunter would be following them this far out in space. Dixoho frowned a little and ducked her head to the console.
"I don't like it. Feels almost too convenient," Alika was more than happy to speak her mind on the matter. "But I'm not exactly gonna complain if he's offering. So long as we keep an eye on him."
Amelia collapsed into her chair, looking ahead, completely exhausted and dirt all around her face "Honestly sir, we're shit in the water.." she sighed heavily as she placed her hands on the console, looking to Saa.
Dixoho could feel the gaze on her but didn't respond, she didn't move an inch apart from to look across her console. She brushed a hand through her hair trying to work out what they could do.
"Patch me through," Rueben said finally after hearing to his crew's words. "Michael Robertson, I am Captain Rueben Gregnol. What aid would you be willing to give?" That was the first thing they needed to know before they took him up on any kind of offer.
Micheal's voice replied. "Greetings, Captain Gregnol. Well, as I am just a single person in a medium-sized shuttle, I don't have alot. However, if you or any of your crew needs it, I'll gladly share my first aid supplies and lend you a couple strong hands for repairs. All I ask in return is a place to crash for a couple days, possibly resupply?" There was a pause and then he continued. "If you don't feel comfortable with my presence, then I shall leave, no hard feelings."
Rueben shrugged. "I think we can arrange something as long as you don't cause any problems." Rueben mused softly. He had no doubt that the man was dangerous but they needed help as the Engineers couldn't do it alone.
"Understood, Captain," Micheal replied without any malice in his voice. "If there is room in your shuttlebay, I'll land there. If not, please direct me to the appropriate docking hatch."
"There is room. I will meet you there." Rueben gestured for the connection to be cut. He wanted this man's shuttle secured in the shuttle bay. You only let ships use docking hatches if you knew them on a ship like this. He looked at Amelia and smiled. "Send him landing instructions then join me. I want you to look over his craft discreetly." He glanced at Alika with a smile.
"My pleasure, sir..." She exclaimed with happily as she readied the landing instructions "Incoming..." she whispered out loud before she stood from her station "All right, lets check this mother out...sir..." she said as she stood next to him, ready for anything. She was ready for some soft of adventure. She had no idea who this man was, and that fascinated her. She was the always the one to dive in to the darkness. She would out thrill and danger. With a smirk, she ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to hide her enthusiasm, but her poker face failed miserably.
