Ledeya hesitated a moment outside the door before she walked into the prepared meeting room. She couldn’t help but admire her yeoman, the man was the most efficient man she had met so far, the room was set up with coffee and hot water for the different teas he had added to the table. Her PaDD and her favourite coffee mug was set in her seat waiting for her, the man was perfect, she was lucky to have him.

She hated holding meetings like this that just held people up, why she had held her previous meetings in the library where they had helped fixed the room up or in the Engineering storeroom to help the stores master organise the stuff that couldn’t be replicated. The Commanding Officer sat down in the chair and waited for her Senior Officers to arrive. It had been an interesting few days with the final few senior officers arriving and some of them she had yet to meet.

Carrying his PADD, the first of the Department Heads was Alex Pierce. The rush up to the line had been fairly taxing as the operations department had gone over the ship system-by-system to ensure that it was ready to depart. Fortunately, Intrepids were not Galaxys or Normandys, even though their systems were a little more complicated the space to cover was much smaller. As he took a seat with a view of the Observation Lounge's viewport, he nodded respectfully to head of the table and said, "Good morning, Captain."

It felt strange being on a Starfleet ship again but he had been through his rehabilitation and they had deemed him clear and fit for duty. He entered the room with his usual air, a slight swagger and sat down at the table. "Morning folks." It was going to be interesting meeting his new crewmates having previously ran a pirate ship in the Hundari Void, there was also the added interesting point of his 'wife' being the security chief. Interesting days definitely laid ahead.

"Good Morning Gentleman." Ledeya greeted looking up from her coffee mug taking in the two men. Both were top of there games but had come to it by different routes. She glanced up as Alexis came into the room, she wasn't sure how wise it was of Starfleet to send Snow and Agrax on the same ship but it wasn't her call in the slightest but it certainly was awkward, to say the least. "Merry meet Commander." She spoke to Alexis as the woman moved to where the coffee was kept.

"Good Morning Captain. Anyone want one?" She offered the two men holding up a mug to indicate the coffee.

"Would I ever." Aki had taken that moment to pipe up as he entered through the door, eyes on the coffee as opposed to anyone's pips. He had a giant welt on his forehead, and he rolled his shoulder to one side. Despite himself, he flopped into the nearest open seat, eyes on their Captain. "Ma'am, I know the meeting's not started yet, but I definitely want to talk after the meeting."

"No thank you, Commander," Alex shook his head. He had already drank more than his share of coffee this morning, any more and he would be bouncing off the walls.

"I am fine thank you, Commander." Ledeya gave the man a soft smile as he came in flustered and requested to see her afterwards. "Of course Lieutenant. And Commander Agrax makes a brilliant coffee." She confirmed as the woman mentioned made three cups of coffee handing one to the Flight Control Officer before putting one in front of Liam before sitting down across from him so she wasn't distracted by the window.

Aki was about to open his mouth to speak a thank you when the door swished open to reveal an uncharacteristically late Gavin Holtztenn. The latter seemed perturbed, but with his trademark PaDD under his arm, he took a seat at the table. Aki started to sink in his own seat, suddenly focused on his coffee.

Akeyo raised her coffee cup her eyes watching the crew sitting down in a chair. She smiled at them and tried not to yawn. She needed a nap.

Ledeya waited for the last few people to take their seat before she smiled at them all. "This meeting will be short as I prefer us all to use the time left if dry dock wisely and sitting here is wasteful but there are no jobs left that we can all do and catch up." She was renowned for doing that. "I would like to know where your departments are in your own words." She could look at reports but they would always be positive and Ledeya wanted to see how her crew reacted now that they had pretty much a full complement minus the Marines that were due any day.

"Intelligence is running around 90% at the moment as I am still waiting on some crew reporting in. The suite itself under my expectations as hardware connections to Starfleet subspace receivers are not working as efficiently as I'd like." Liam began in a simple fashion, he never did mince his words. "I have already reached out to my contacts to let them know I'm back on active duty and they seem surprised to hear I'm alive let alone back within the fleet. We will be ready for launch."

"I've got a few more appointments with senior staff for updated evaluations. So far they're not crazy." Akeyo chuckled.

"I think we have just about eliminated all of the bugs," Alex smiled with victory. He held up his PADD in case anyone wanted to take a look at lines of code that cause systems across three decks to go haywire. "Someone in the refit got a little ambitious with the self-learning algorithms that help our systems adapt to our personal tastes." Looking around a little, Pierce added, "All proximity detectors and door locks are now synced with the manifest and security clearances from security," he nodded toward Alexis, "The department looks to be about 95%."

"Relieved to hear that the bugs have disappeared. I was getting fed up of people walking into my quarters or the turbolift keep sending me to deck 3." Ledeya could accept 90% or more with her departments when crew and some teething issues still remained. She glanced around at the others waiting to see who would be next.

"Agreed." Gavin looked between the few who had spoken up. "But if there is anything we can do to make that 95% a 100%, I'm sure we can ask the dock requisitions for a few more resources before we're too far off."

Aki was rather into his coffee mug as everyone else spoke around him, his fingers twiddling the pair of pips on his collar nervously. He heard a small silence, looking over first to the Executive Officer, then to the rest of the staff, before looking back down again. After another moment, his mug was set down, and he decided then to begin. "The flight control team has been trained up, and our procedures are in place. The routines are all in place, and I could say we're all working as we should. Most of our shuttles are in good shape too - except the one that was stolen from the shipyards before we took off. Yep. Everything's great."

Liam frowned and looked over to the officer in question at the mention of the stolen shuttle. Seemingly it had gotten by nearly everyone. He knew that security became a little more relaxed at starbases, shipyards etc but to have one stolen was another matter. He looked over at Alexis and wondered what her thoughts on the matter were as Chief of Security.

Ledeya blinked at the officer for a moment and then glanced at the Executive Officer. She was guessing he knew but was forcing the man to admit to admit what had happened in front of everyone. That wasn't exactly how she wanted to find out and shaming the man for something that was possibly not his fault wasn't the way to go. "Lieutenant can you explain fully what happened?" The Betazoid said cool as she picked up the coffee mug that was in front of her.

"Well, I can explain the first half," Aki admitted, finger trailing around the edge of his mug. He could sense Gavin's gaze out of the corner of his eye. "I had a good sight of the three thieves as they were trying to jack Sheila, that's what the crew's named the missing shuttle before she went missing, but uh... I got conked on the head before I could get the rest. Two young women, one much taller man. I uh... just woke up a couple of days ago, in Med Bay. So I uh... haven't had a lot of time to make a proper report. Ma'am."

Sitting in his chair, Alex acted as though he were checking his PADD for department updates as the awkward situation unfolded. Clearly, none of this sounded good for Aki, but the Flight Controller Chief's problem was in the jurisdiction of command and security. He input a reminder into his PADD to get come up with a better safety protocol program for the shuttles.

Alexis slowly looked up from her PADD and looked at the flight control Officer. It was like a rage was in her for a moment before she looked at everyone realizing there was a tension in the room waiting for her. "If they were dockside they were not our responsibility to secure. They would be the docks but I will contact them now and find out why we have not been made aware of this situation." The woman said not at all impressed as she shared a look with the Captain.

"And I will explain to the Admiralty that a shuttle has been stolen." Ledeya wasn't at all looking forward to that conversation at all. She wouldn't also be discussing with her flight control officer why the man had waited until now to discuss this matter in front of everyone.

Reaching a bit, Alex had a thought. "If I may," he spoke up, "if the shuttle isn't too far away it may be possible to calibrate our sensors to track its path. If this ship was it's destination, it should have been outfitted with a transponder that could help us find it."

"From what little I could tell of the people who took the shuttle," Aki piped in, "At least one was knowledgeable enough to know how to get in. Wouldn't surprise me if they thought to look for the transponder either. The big guy sure knew how to hit me on the head."

"I'll see if I can dig up some information from some of my sources in the area, maybe someone will know something." Liam offered. As for the rest of the meeting he was pretty much done.
