Eden opened her eyes and wished she hadn't. Everything was a bit blurry until she blinked a few times and then the headache made itself known. She sat up very slowly and looked around the room. "What happened?" She asked, shutting her eyes to the too bright lights of sickbay. "I remember some purple sky and some weird trees and we crashed, didn't we?"

"You more than crashed Eden." A soft voice whispered and Sebastian looked up from where he stood with a nurse who had been checking over the crew from outside the isolation room. "Computer dim the lights by 25%." He instructed and the lights dimmed to a more manageable level he hoped. The nurse stayed silent by his side checking over the stats.

She opened one eye to test the level. It seemed better so she opened both. "What do you mean? I don't think I was hurt, I remember walking around." Thoughts came flooding back into her head. "And Ryder tried to carry me back to the shuttle," her response was almost indignant.

The Captain looked through the force field and smiled. “Yes you were walking around.” It had been a nerve racking week search for the shuttle full of officers who should have simply been surveying somewhere. “You made it to a planet but the planet has some spores that you all reacted to. Changing personalities I believe was the major issue.” he said not revealing anything about the others though there was a lot of screaming that the woman wouldn’t be able to heard from in there.

That didn't sound good. "I'm not sure I want to remember the rest now." Eden said. She felt fairly fine now though, a little sensitive to sound and light but nothing majorly hurt. Eden dangled her legs over the edge of the biobed. "I take it I'm under quarantine for a while?"

The male nurse let out a cough and pressed a button let her hear him talk through the forcefield. “Ensign we need to make sure you have not developed ant psychological issue from the experience.” He said glancing at the Captain as the screaming finally died down.

"Yeah, I get it. I'm not complaining. Wouldn't want me running around the ship climbing things." She gave Sebastian a small smile. "How are the others?"

The Captain found himself smiling fondly for a moment before he sobered up. "They have been better," He admitted softly thinking that none of them really were in good nick at all. "I am sure once the toxins are out of there bodies they will be back to there old selves."

"Did . . . I do anything weird when I got back to the ship?" Eden asked, wondering why he was being so careful about the conditions of the others. Obviously, she felt okay now, that didn't mean she'd been okay when she first returned to the ship.

"We can talk about it all when you are better," Sebastian said gently in the calming way that he usually did. He didn't want to discuss it all with her when she had just woken up especially with someone else in the room. The nurse glanced at the man wondering if once upon a time if he had been a doctor.

"That sounds reassuring." Eden sighed and stretched herself back out on the bed and then rolled over to face Sebastian again. She hoped she wasn't going to go nuts, being cooped up like this. "Anything to read around here?"

The Captain was just about to return to the Bridge now that all the Officers were awake in one form another when he heard her soft voice. "There is a PADD with your favourites in the pile of things in the corner." He said gently getting another strange look from the Nurse.

"Oh, thank you." Eden said, she slipped off the bed and waited a moment to make sure she could keep her balance, she was feeling a tiny bit light headed now that she was moving around. She retrieved the PADD and climbed back on the bed, flopping onto her stomach and propping herself up with her elbows to read.

Sebastian took one final look at the woman before he disappeared off. They could talk when she was more herself, he had other priorities right now and the woman was safer than she had been in days so there was that peace of mind.
