Dixaho slowly walked into the ward room where there was loud music playing and stopped int the doorway looking around for Reessem as the only other girl that she knew. She frowned when she saw the younger woman engrossed in a conversation with Amelia in what seemed like another language one she didn't understand. She wore a long shirt over a pair of shiny leggings with a pair of heels that made her seem so much taller.

As the room swelled with people, Alika hopped in her chair excitedly, the prospect of meeting new faces on her mind. She sipped her drink, attempting to ignore the dizziness floating to the top of her head. "So, what does everyone do? We've obviously all been disenchanted by the thought of prosperity through the 'usual' means, but we're all good at something, right? I wanna know who I can go to for what, and all I know's Tabby keeps the ship from not exploding on us."

As Lysina sat in the stool next to Erim, she ordered a Bolian Whiskey on Ice. Lysina turned to Erim and said, "It's good to meet another Bolian that's part of the crew. I'm Lysina."

"It seems like we're everywhere." the Bolian man said before setting down his empty glass, swirling the ice cubes with his straw. "So what do you do on this lovely vessel?" his tone didn't betray a hint of sarcasm, though he did find the ship to be rather antiquated. An anachronism from another time.

Lysina's brows came together in puzzlement at the term lovely. Then, she realized, that Erim being Bolian would attempt to keep things positive. It was their way; they were service oriented, looking out for others. Their sociable nature, caused them to attempt to keep speech and relations positive.

"I'm in communications," Lysina admitted. "An expert in linguistics. How about you, my friend?"

"Oh you know, a little bit of this and that. I have a lot of useful skills." Thief as a title never impressed the ladies.

"Of course you do," Lysina laughed, "you're Bolian!"

Dixaho came into the room and sat next to Alika. "I am the Astrometrics officer so to speak. Looks like its my job to guide us." She had been flying back and forth between the edge of federation space and main federation planets since she was born.

Alika looked the woman up and down as if she had just spoken of heinous crimes. 'Guide' was a broad term to pilot's mind. Maps were difficult to follow when the astrometrics staff were snore-fests. Or Vulcans. The odd ginger in front of her didn't look like a Vulcan, but her 'capabilities' remained to be seen. Turning to the others, the young Hawaiian grinned as if she didn't hear 'evil words' come out of someone's mouth. "So we're gonna have a pretty well-rounded bit of bothers- wait, do we have a medic? We need one of those."

Talon waved to Alika from behind the bar, shouting, "The doctor is otherwise occupied!"

Alika kept her commentary for herself, eyeing the Bajoran up and down. After a curt nod, she sipped her drink and turned to the rest of the conversation, a small smirk on her lips.

Tabitha was getting decent at this Barkeep thingy, It was fun.. Having Joss beside her was also very enjoyable. There weren't as many people enjoying themselves, But it wasn't dead at least... She smiled at people, made a few drinks, a few disasters and had a lot of fun..

"Saa!" Talon gave a shout of greeting. "Good to see you! What can I get for you to drink?" The red head Trill looked over at the sound and smile.

"Hey Tal... Anything you have i am happy with." She said giving the man a pretty smile as she spoke away to Alika. She noticed Rueben walk in and stop dead at majority of his new crew in the Lounge.

"One margarita coming up," Talon shouted, "for the lady with the ginger top!" Dixaho laughed softly and shook her head at the man.

"Red top thank you sugar!" She called back as the margarita came in her direction. She took a long sip and held up her thumb, she had, had this drink before on a Terran ship that had been ferry colonists to a planet, she had brought a passage there and back by showing them the way.

Talon gave Dixoho a thumb up. "Glad you like it!"
Joss then turned his attention to his partner behind the bar. "You're doing a fine job of keeping up!" he informed Tabitha.

Tabitha sidled up to Tally.. "Just as long as I get some appreciation after this is done.." She teased as she poured another draft. Dixoho smiled and sipped on the drink with a giggle at the Engineers flirting.

"No problem there, Tabs!" Talon exclaimed with a wink and grin. He looked for someone needing a fresh drink.

"My, the two of you seem infiammato this evening," said Amelia as she approached the bar.

Tabitha looked toward the tall beautiful Bajoran. than leaned out to the other women. "He doesn't make it difficult you know.." She wiped her hands, "What'll it be??"

Talon wasn't versed in the different Terran languages. The word seemed to bring him confusion.

Lysina saw the confused look and chuckled. "It's Italian for fiery."

Talon grinned then with understanding. "You can say that again!" he agreed, nodding at Amelia. Dixaho shook her head at the pair making a fool of themselves. She couldn't help but look away, she wanted to see if Rueben was here maybe she could try another attempt at him. He seemed the most solid off the ships males, something about him just made her wanted to tame him.

The elegantly-dressed woman chuckled at the reactions as she snapped her fingers, grabbing the attention of her own staff whom where still carrying the delicate bottles of wine from her private stores. "Giada!" She exclaimed to the much younger woman; "Please, bring some of that fantastico Nascu here so i nostri amici may try it!"

Reessem sided up the Italian and smiled. "Good choice," she said in Italian raising her glass fall of ale.

"One of whatever you're serving!" Erim yelled over the crowd at Talon. He was really starting to feel the effects of what he was drinking, and feeling much more sociable. He looked over at Lysina and gave her a flirtatious smile. While he was still searching for Eliz, he wasn't feeling exactly faithful. She had, after all, left him alone for an Andorian drug smuggler.

"You're really the light of the room." he said to the vibrant Bolian woman, trying to be as smooth as possible.

Lysina's cheeks turned a deeper shade of blue, then a smile enveloped her lips. True, she was on a shady ship, but Erim was a fellow Bolian. Who better to trust than another Bolian? They usually would go out of their way to make another's life easier. Most Bolians' life mission dealt with some form of serving others.

It had been a long day. First meeting with the Klingon captain, then seeing the ghost of Reuben walk out of her past, then assaulting the huge Klingon, followed by Reuben and her running from the bar. She still wasn't sure if she should trust Reuben. But at least she could get out of Federation controlled space. Now, there was another Bolian aboard. Who better to trust.

She smiled as she took a sip from her glass, holding it before her lips, temporarily hiding her smile from him. "You're being kind," she responded.

"Nonsense." Erim said, "You know it's hard to know who to trust in a place like this, but for some reason, I have good feelings about you. You have a kind soul. I can feel it."

The thief motioned for another drink. At this point he wasn't sure what was in his glass, but it tasted good, so who was he to ask? There was something very nice, very familiar about being with one of his own kind. Bolians, as a people, tended to be kind. Even the not so nice ones like himself.

The Field Medic/Bartender placed another whiskey before Erim. Lysina took a sip of her drink. She was beginning to enjoy Erim. He made her feel more at ease about being on this ship. If anyone, Lysina felt a sense of trust for him.

"I wish the Federation felt the same way about me," she replied, her eyes downcast. "I wouldn't have to be on the run."

This was good Tabitha thought, Most people were conversating in some way, Even if it seemed a little lean. She was enjoying bar tending, Especially with Joss apply leading the way. Maybe it was to soon, but feeling free of fear, guilt, pain and heart brake was a welcome change. She smiled to those that came up to the bar, happy to be doing something other than running...

Alika snorted, catching bits of the Bolians' conversation. "But if the Federation decided to be nice to you, you wouldn't be here. And then Mr. 'Useful Skills' wouldn't have met you." She playfully elbowed Erim's side, before leaning back and grinning at the others. "Think this place has a ping pong table?"

Lysina's face turned a deeper shade of blue, not knowing anyone overheard their conversation. She didn't know why she thought that; they were sitting in a lounge getting more crowded at the bar. She was slightly embarrassed, but the bright smile returned as she looked at Erim.

Rokar sighed as he over-heard the various conversations going on in the room. Try as he might to keep an eye on his friend, he couldn't help but take stock in the various scoundrels filling the room...it made him feel right at home. He was about to get himself another drink from Rodrigo, when, just as he turned from his spot by the door, he knocked straight into a Bolian woman.

Lysina turned and looked straight at the man. His long hair and the one eyebrow made the man look like with whom one didn't wish to mess. He appeared strong and intimidating, definitely the security type.

"I'm sorry I was in the way," Lysina politely expressed.

"Erm, uh," he stammered in startled embarrassment. Then his wine glass tipped, spilling the remnants of its contents on the poor woman. "Son of a-! I'm sorry," he said, as he struggled to find a towel to help sop-up the mess.

The cold liquid gave Lysina a shock at first. Quickly, her body temperature balanced out the cold liquid. As the man began to tend to the spill, Lysina didn't know what to do. Allow him to continue putting his hands all over her? Or take care off the spill herself, giving the man a lesson on boundaries. Lysina stood and backed away, grabbing some napkins and dabbing herself dryer.

"It's quite alright," she reported to Rokar. "Accidents do happen. I've got this."

Rowan found the actual thought of gathering with others in a social situation to border on tedium with strict forays into the territory of boredom. They were serving drinks, or so he had been told, so he would attend. It wasn't that he was antisocial, well he was, it came with the territory of being a test pilot once. He just found after all his experiences that any sentient being would at one point or another, betray, backstab, or let you down. He didn't even venture into the boundaries of emotional relationships. That was off limits as far as he was concerned and he would not cross them again.

The best part about being on this ship was the history attached to a Constitution class ship. He'd been educated on most the earlier ships the Federation used and this was actually quite a joy to roam the corridors and see one with his own eyes. It could be considered touring a living museum if he wasn't going to be flying it. Life had its small joys. He had arrived and was debating going back to his quarters. Well no time like the present. He entered and looked for a place to sit.

"Hey fly boy." Dixoho called waving the older man over to the seat by her and Alika. Maybe she could introduce the two flyer cause it looked like neither knew the other.

He resisted the urge to roll eyes and walk in he other way. The fly boy comment did have him, momentarily, travel back to his younger days. It was nice to be reminded of those. He gave a quick nod and started off in the direction of the two women. He was glad he actually shaved a day ago and didn't look like he was on a three day bender.

"Ladies."

Dixoho smiled and patted the seat next to her. "This is Alika... She is a fly girl by the way. Your co pilot." The red head grinned. The Astrometics Officer said not put off by his obvious not wanting to be there attitude.

Rowan smiled and sat in the seat indicated. It wasn't to bad to meet those you were going to be working with during your voyage.

"A pleasure to meet you Alika. What have you flown prior to a starship?"

He didn't mind talking shop about flying. It was good neutral territory.

"I haven't" Alika pleasantly responded, as if that were the answer everyone was looking for. "This'll be my first ship ever. Never flown a thing."

He looked over at Dixoho and smiled.

"Who else do I have the pleasure of meeting. I'm Rowan by the way?"

"Dixoho." The woman said simply with a grin at the other woman. Rowan's attention returned to Alika. That was refreshing. He was going to be able to impart knowledge and skill. This was going to be fun after all. He didn't look at this negatively at all. This was a positive.

"Alright. The. We are going to have fun. This old ship won't perform like some of the ones I've flown but nothing does perform like the last thing you've flown. Each ship or craft has a feel. Once you find it your golden."

He smiled and nodded to Alika like it was gospel. It was in most cases.

"What are you ladies drinking?"

Alika's brow quirked, wiggling the glass of Blue Hawaiian in her hand. She did not expect him to take her joke seriously. He was gonna be fuuuuun. "Sure Champ. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two."

Dixoho burst out laughing at the man thinking that the little human had no experience. "Oh boy," Was all she murmured. It really was going to be an interesting trip.
